Definitely a lovely gift. I much prefer something that is created by an artesian over anything ordered via Amazon or Ebay. It isn't the price - for me it's the thought, effort and time that matters. I know your Mother will be delighted. I treasure such an item. Thank you Louise!

I really like the gel effect on the sides. It reminds me of coral in the ocean. Though I do admit I was cringing over the wasted gold powder. Lol, very nice. Something I did not know was that you could burn a candle in that. I thought it would scorch. End results were lovely.

Thank you, I know I cringed too but it was too late before I realised what I had done 🤣 you can burn candles in aqua cast, sometimes you do get some blackening on the inside but it does clean off.

What a spectacular rescue, Louise! That 'Dendritic' pattern you created might also be useful to suggest foliage in the foreground of a landscape, which is kind of what I see in a couple of places here,, given the slight landscapey palette of the piece. 🤗 Love your channel, Louise! Wow, so rich in color and texture! I have that mold, but I've only ever used resin in it. Can you tell me how well the lid screws on? I'm usually very careful to make sure my jars and lids are fully cured so that they fit perfectly together. My niece loves the jars I made her and was impressed with the lid fitting just right. So I was curious to see if the aqua cast fit well, and not chip off? I'd really like to make some as Christmas gifts! 🎄☃️🌨️🦌
