Fantastic railway! Got a real sense of the scale speed when you filmed with the camera low to the ground. Brilliant Jenny!

Wonderful presentation, Jenny! One slight correction from a Yank, the engine you identified as a GP-40 is actually an Alco RS-2 or 3, (can't tell with the tarp on it). Please don't ask me to identify British locos!

You look positively beside yourself. I can only imagine your reaction if you're ever able to travel to Train Mountain in Oregon. It's really quite spectacular. 30+ miles of 7.5" track.

I agree, you must Must MUST go to Ryedale. This one is tremendous but is really the work of one person. Imagine a site three times as big and a 5 inch gauge railway built by a team of people - that's Ryedale.

How would I get informed on how to build his turnouts? Dan in Longview Washington USA we are building in 1 1/2”, 2 1/2” scale, on 7 1/2” gauge track. My Son has all my shop equipment, and 2 1/2” scale equipment. He is building in 1 1/2” scale. We need to build track. I could build the turnouts at my house for his future layout. so it is a 3.5 hour drive for you. But, does this mean you are going to get into 5 inch gauge? buy yourself a loco and once a month drive a train. looked like a lot of fun Jenny.

Lots of railways to visit. Really need to go for 7.25" and have a sit-inside loco for the greatest affordable railway experience.

So that it is worthwhile making and posting films, and a relevant business gets some advertising where the money they spend stays in the hobby rather goung to an advertising firm.
