For those who don’t know, in this special version, you are not immediately out of the game if you get caught out or hit out. Instead u go to an area behind the opposing team’s main play area. Not sure what it’s called in Japanese, but in Viet Nam we call it “prison.” If ur entire team goes to prison then you lose the game. But while you are in prison and the ball somehow lands in there, you can throw it back at the opposing team to get yourself rescued. Same goes for the other team

That's not how Japanese dodgeball works. I believe that team 1 is on both sides and team 2 is in the middle. Not 100% sure tho

Yeah he threw it to his own teammate so when his teammate threw it back and he dropped it, it didn’t get him out

Wouldn’t dude in red that dropped the ball been out since he didn’t catch it? Then he was still in play and got hit in the back and his other teammate caught the ball that deflected off his back. Is this a different game or way of playing dodgeball?
