No, wait a minute. I want to share how my KZread afternoon is going and the thing is, I'm not even sure where to start from. I tap on Spidey's notification, and I learn an awesome variation on the "lie detector" theme, around which I'm trying to build a little performance for a group of friends; Spidey is on a spree and his last tutorials were one better than the other. In the same video Spidey talks about DeSouza who is easily my close-up magic greatest inspiration. And then scrolling down the comments, Mismag himself, the OG KZread tutorial man, literally the one person that got me into card magic, just... you know, leaves a comment, casually. I'm not sure how I feel right now. Call that dots that are connecting, or whatever, but this gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling. I'm loving this. Thanks everybody. Thanks Spidey, thanks Mismag. Keep at it.

I love your content Spidey. I use your magics everyday to fool my friends and family. And they all would be like WHAAAAT! Because of your card tricks, now I am being social with my friends. In my free time, all I do is practice your card tricks and try to improve my skills in sleight of hand. My favourite trick from your channel is the heist card trick which I practiced for almost a month for perfection. And now all my friends are asking me to teach that wonderful trick. I just want to thank you for being such a great teacher.

Every time i perform, one of my go to tricks is one of your mentalism tricks you showed us a couple time ago. I also use blank cards so that they can write the initials of a special person they think and the revelation at the end with the lighter erasing the pen markings leaving just the initials is just beautiful. I'm pretty sure you understand what trick I'm talking about. It always gets great reactions. In my opinion the best thing you taught. Keep up the good work man. Much Love

My story of finding you was when I saw one your card mentalism tricks where you find a card out of the deck as if you telepathically know where the card is without even letting the girl touch it. I have shown this version of the card trick to a bunch of my friends in college and every time they are just amazed. I always love your extra touch to simple magic tricks to make a more amazing ending and with your inspiration I add some of my touch to simple cards tricks as well for a bigger reaction. Always loved your tricks and best of luck for the future!

Definitely one of my most memorable moments preforming magic for an audience. Thanks again for all the tips and magic you show to us, and good luck to everyone 👍

Just started close up card tricks in February and my friend showed me a trick that blew my mind and said he learned it from you so I immediately found your page and tried to find the trick he did but couldn't but came across the 3 stages of a magician, picking three cards and finding them in three different ways. I love this trick for one cuz it's awesome but also it helps me develop my sleight, and my story telling skills. I've learned a few more card tricks on this page and I'm always using them to get that "WOW".

I have used many of your tricks but the one I still use to this day is the "three most powerful cards in the deck", the ace, two and three of spades. When I was younger, I was so amazed by the idea of mentalism, as I truly didn't understand it. You would think when I found your channel, I might feel disenchanted with it by seeing how logical it is, but it was quite the opposite! Seeing the slight of hand and ability to be one step ahead of your spectator to achieve a true reaction of shock and confusion is just truly amazing to watch. I had never really tried to practice magic or mentalism, just liked watching it, but your mentalism videos inspired me and I have started practicing them with my fiance and co-workers!

The trick I’ve learnt from you that I use the most is the “Talking to the spirits” trick. The sleight of hand isn’t difficult and it always gets crazy reactions from the spectators, some even “accused” me of using black magic or witchcraft! I do have a story with this trick - I was looking for a trick to perform for my family for Halloween last year and I stumbled upon that video of yours. As soon as I watched your performance of that trick, I instantly knew I was going to practice practice practice to master that trick. For that Halloween performance, I convinced my brother who was uninterested in magic to be my secret helper and managed to blow my dad’s mind. He normally doesn’t have big reactions to even great tricks but when my bro and I saw his reaction, we were so happy and my bro’s impression of magic made a 360 degree turn around. Thank you for teaching us all these golden tricks! Every time I get the notification that says you posted a new video, it makes my day. We really appreciate what you’re do for the Magic community. God bless and have a wonderful day

A story of learning, I learned a routine from your channel and planned to perform it on my fresher's talent show at college, the spectator I asked for was trying to be clever and was telling the wrong card that he picked, like he picked 5 of ♦ and he told me that he picked 5 of ♠, but I'm your student😂, I'm always one step ahead, so what I did in the beginning was I showed that card not only to that clever guy but to the audience too. And luckily someone from the audience stood up and said noooo it was 5 of ♦ and i got a complete great reaction from the audience 💘🥺🫀✨ . Thank you Spidy💘 The trick was that 9 cards one. Love from India 🇮🇳❤

I'm new to magic/card tricks, a hobby I picked up at the start of the pandemic when I retired from policing. I get together periodically with my former colleagues, and for each get together I perform a trick that invariably came from you, Spidey! Your explanations are so clear that the only thing left for me to do is practice, practice, practice. I think this one will be one of my favourites. And performing in front of a few cops is no easy feat - they are naturally suspicious and watching every move. But so far, they've been mystified.

Hi spidey, I’m a divorced father of 3. My time with my kids is limited. My youngest daughter is 9 and loves magic. I’ve bought her all kinds of magic kits for Christmas and birthdays and practice these tricks with her to show her siblings. Her brother and sisters are very tough critics. They figure out her cheap tricks and often she cries from disappointment. So my mission became to learn magic myself so I can pass it on to her. My coworker ordered me some trick decks and recommended your channel. Your tricks are a little difficult for her to learn right now but she is always amazed when I perform for her, even her siblings are amazed. I had a family gathering a few days ago my daughter suggested I do some magic for everyone so I performed your “why you never gamble with a magician” trick and floored everyone. One family member pulled out her phone and actually recorded while I performed it again (luckily had a second deck already prepared as they confiscated the first deck for examination). Your tricks have brought me closer to my kids a and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. My oldest daughter says she wants me to learn how to pull a card from my butt now lol. I’m thinking the “make your card appear anywhere” or “card in pocket trick” should accomplish what she wants. Thank you spidey

I have learn so much from you, not only here on YT, but in social media in general. Like when you do giveaways to support a cause, defend your audience and encourage them when they appeared in your live streams, how you deal with the "smartass" on your comment boxes....at the end, the most valuable lesson i have gotten is "to be humble". And following that example you always give, its how i found and was able to keep my current job, house and make people here think "maybe foreigners are not as bad as we thought they are". If you want want a more "magic related" answer, then that ultimate impossible mind reading trick you performed to a girl, where you have to ask the spectator to choose a card, but you have to do it in sets of 6. Thanks to some of your videos i discovered how useful the frixion pens are, not only for magic, but in general (give a secret love letter to someone, troll your boss in a playful way, send magic birthday/encouraging messages, etc)

Wow, where do I start? There are so many stories I could tell. How about this one: I have been getting great reactions from your tutorial, where the spectator finds the chosen card through a process of eliminating all the cards by intuition. Here is my patter: I use a pretty worn deck of cards. The story goes like this: My grand dad, a doctor, once treated a young man, named Erik, who had dislocated his arm, in a stupid bet, that he could to escape a straight jacket. The man had no money, so, to thank my grand dad for his help, he gave him his most valuable possesion at the time: his deck of cards. My grand dad did not pay much attention to the young man’s gift which he left forgotten in a drawer for years. Before he died, my grand dad recognized the his former patient in a news paper. Erik had made a carreer from escaping straight jackets. Actually he had become the world’s greatest escape artist. And his name was not Erik anymore, but Harry. Harry Houdini. Intrigued by his discovery he looked for the long forgotten deck of cards he had been gifted. Miraculously he did not have to search for long. Dispite all the years that had passed the deck was lying right on top of all the other things he kept in his drawer. But that is not all. One of the cards has the strange habit of always resurfacing from the rest of the deck. As if it had somehow acquired it‘s former master‘s power to escape from anywhere. As a reference to his former patient, my grand dad called it the „Houdini Card“. „Would it not be amazing if - from 52 different and shuffled cards - the „Houdini Card“ would have managed to become your selected card?“ I then ask. „And would it not be even more amazing, if this same card - after being placed in the middle of the deck and shuffled even further into the deck - would have somehow found it’s way out again though your free process of eliminating 51 cards and now lie right here in your hands again?“ Before I have the participant turn over the card in his hands I reveil value and suit of the „Houdini Card“. It is the same card the spectator chose. From here I move into my Ambitous Card routine which ends with „Bound“ by Joel Dickinson. Hope you like how I adapted it to my routine.

I have to say that my favorite, and most practiced and performed, is the Time Heist Trick. I love the reaction I get every time. I like it it because, for me, it always fools the the person who you know is trying to figure it out as you do it. Love the Channel.

I've learned a lot from your KZread videos and your products alike. Whether it's your way of presentation and approaching to people and their behavioral tells (like with your body-language analysis and psychology-centered videos) or specific practical ideas (like with Out of My Mind or Shredder), for me learning magic and mentalism from you is a very unique experience. Largely thanks to your explanations and psychological approach, I gained a lot more confidence performing for people and connecting with them - making the magic entertaining and socially exciting at the same time. So thank you very much for that! 😊

Hey Spidey! I have a few of your tricks in my arsenal, but the REAL gift you gave me was my persona. I've been a semi-professional theater performer for about 11 years now, but I'm pretty new to magic. Like many new magicians, I was struggling to find my style of presentation because nothing really felt right. Then I saw your trick with the three kinds of wishes. The kicker ending made me stop and really think: what would I go back and change? What regrets do I have. Who have I hurt that I wish hadn't been hurt? I learned the trick and performed it for my family. The entire atmosphere changed from one of laughing and joking around to one of quiet introspection as I went through that final phase. The whole room was silent as the post-it reformed before their eyes. A hushed "wow" was all I got at the end, and it was more satisfying than any standing ovation. At that moment, I knew what my persona was. I'm a storyteller. I want to make a profound connection with my audience, make them think and make them feel. So the biggest thing that I got from your channel was my entire presentation style and who I am as a magician, and for that I will be forever grateful.

It was almost 3 years back, when I was a boy, in the eighth standard, in quest for something to impress both people and myself with!!! And that's when I just bought a deck of cards and started searching for good magic tutorials...As a beginner then, I could not perform most of the magic tricks because they involved some card handling techniques which were unknown to me and they were too difficult for me to perform... But then somehow, I came across your videos and you know the best thing about you Spidey... You instil confidence in new performers...You made everything seem so easy...and above all, your tricks were highly deceptive... And their began my journey, with your channel or more specifically with you... I started learning new performances and showed it to my parents and relatives, who too could not guess anything I did... The smiles of amazement that they have on their faces, after each performance I learn from your videos and perform is something which makes me more and more thankful to you... Every week, I wait for the Sundays to learn something new and go on performing and showing it to the others... You know it's a kind of a "Magic Day" for me... So yeah...this is my journey which I have just begun with your channel, and I hope to learn a lot more from you, throughout the rest of the journey... Thank you!!!

What a creative use of the same move you taught for the mentalism picture drawing routine! Love the channel and learn so much! I really enjoy performing the 4 A's and 7's with the deck color change that you taught me for family and friends (I use A's and K's). Every time the final surprise at the end has them so speechless... it's just fun to watch. Thanks for teaching that one!

Hey spidey, so I came across your channel last year. I watched your mind reading card trick and practiced really hard. I've been following your channel since then and learned many techniques from you. I got 20 mins for my magic art performance in my degree convocation ceremony after so much convincing. I performed mind reading technique on special guest and the whole audience went crazy. Adding to that craziness I performed that card appearing technique on my principal and all this happened just 20 days before. I still remember everything vividly. It was the best day of my life. Thanks for teaching theseagic tricks to us ❤❤🤗🤗.

Hey Spidey, Great tutorial as usual. I really appreciate how much thought you put into your routines and how you use simple sleights to create so many magical moments. This philosophy has impacted the way that I approach coming up with my own routines. It's easy to get caught up in the sleights and forget about the art you are trying to create.

Loved this video and I have a memory of performing the trick where you wrote down the fruit, exotic animal, and celebrity and also write down the three house pets and then you read their mind. Everybody who I performed it to loved it and was amazed. They also wanted to know where I learned all the magic tricks I perform and I told them I learned most of them from you. Thank you for teaching magic and helping others become magicians.

This is without a doubt my favorite KZread channel. I watch every one of your videos and try them out whenever I can. The impromptu trick I use the most is a you do as I do effect where you find the spectators card and they find yours. A great use of the Cut Deeper force. No doubt though A B See is my favorite trick of all and never fails to astonish. It is such a clever and deceptive principle. But I think beyond the magic I learn most from your amazing presentations. Simple methods allow you to concentrate on keeping the audience engaged. I have to admit I have started asking the spectator to name their card “In a loud clear voice”. You should get residuals for that line.

I am a passionate amateur magician but i like to use your 'card that doesn't exist yet' that is trapped between the kings. I am an airline pilot and love to perform some card tricks and mind reading for my crew when we have a layover in a hotel. It always provides lots of laughs and amazement. I use the kings trick to also explain about magic in the modern world but also that cards are very old and how they came into existence. I love bringing history and amazement together. Most of my tricks that i use originate from your channel. I absolutely love the relaxed way of doing them. I miss the bewildering i see in a child's eyes when he sees something amazing and i love that your tricks help me to recreate that same feeling in adults. Keep up the amazing work!

I've learnt basically all the tricks from the tutorials you've got up but mainly I like your presentation style so I've tried to adopt some of it to keep the audience up to speed and keep them excited by demonstrating your excitement in the trick too. It's really clear when you're like announcing their card at the end that it's a real miracle and you're sometimes as surprised as they are at how impossible it is!

Hey Spidey! Another amazing trick I must add! My favorite trick you have taught would have to be the prediction you taught using a book. It's so powerful to narrow it down to the word in a book and the cards they select be the page number. Your tutorials are such a blessing in my life! I am only in high school, but I designed a whole 4-H project around magic, history of magic, and the impact it has had in my life. Your videos have provided me with so much more than just cool tricks to perform with my friends and family, they have provided me a way to bring joy to the world. Thank you so much for all you do man, it means more than you know.

Hi Spidey, the effect that you taught which had the greatest impact on me is the drawing duplication. It is easy in method but it leaves a lasting affect on the participant if good patter is used. It really acted as a doorway to the world of mentalism for me, after that i moved on to more complex especially prop-less mentalism. I still perform it, even with business cards. Thank you so much for teaching that.

Hi Spidey - Fav tricks I learned from you (which are my go-tos at family gatherings) are THINK OF ANY CARD & TIME PARADOX TRICK. The reactions continue to be amazing. Recently bought ABSee and I am amazed at how quickly I was able to perform...I had to add that because the family wants more, more and more...so I just added your mentalism trick, ANY PAPER IMPROMPTU. Hope you stay well and thanks for all your fine teaching.
