So Happy & Glad For Her. We haven’t posted any videos yet on our You The Tube Channel, but have been making videos/recording of our ??? We are not techky-hehehe. So I have been researching the best way to tackle/approach these Beauties. I’ve only slabbed one Blue that is approximately 6” x 4” and each slab I made I was going to look briefly at it however I was extremely mesmerized by its shear Beauty that I Took some time to look at each piece after slabbing it. This Lapidary is Some FUN & ENJOYABLE ADVENTURE ESPECIALLY FOR ME seeing the Creations at whole-then to slab/cut and Polish. We’ve just started and just Thinking how Many Wonderful, Amazing Beautiful/Gorgeous Creations You have Seen and the Shear Pleasure/Enjoyment when YOU PUT YOUR AWESOME TOUCH FROM BEGINNING TO FINALIZATION. Oh yes! I love cleaving stones with a sledgehammer. You get some really cool breaks that afford neat shapes for free-form cabbing and carving as well. Thanks for watching!
What beautiful gems and you made incredible sand. I had a lot of fun.

Watching the changes from raw to polished is fascinating. I have a few pieces of Ellensburg Blue Agate that I need to dig out of a box. One of my clients brought them to me almost 30 years ago, and now I really want to take a closer look at them. Thanks for sharing your process. You're quite inspiring. :-)

I love how you start out with the raw rough stone and work them down into some beautiful shaped Cabochon. They turned out beautiful, are you going to show them set in the rings?
@OzoneFineArtVentures

Thank you! It's super cool to see the shapes the stones come up with and then the challenge they throw down to find their expression through the cut and polish. I've got the ring video in the works right now. I'll probably do a short for instant gratification and then a full length video for those who'd like to see the process in more detail. Thanks so much for watching!
I've smashed big juicy piece of holley blue agate and surprisingly it was the best choice... but using a trim saw will give you better results on average. This material like to brake too. Nice work
Hey just subbed love it totally when I make cabs I love to free form let the rock guide you great vid love the pod casts

Those came out really nice! Do you have plans to get a trim saw as well?
@OzoneFineArtVentures
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, I do have plans on a trim saw and I've got another saw that I'm picking up soon. Come winter, I'm hoping to be outfitted to work through the squalls indoors when going down on the beach isn't going to happen. Thanks for watching!
What machine are you using
when i cut a stone i some times get so lot in it i lose all track of time!!!
@OzoneFineArtVentures
2 жыл бұрын
That's the best, when you lose all track of time being absorbed in the cutting and polishing of stones. That's when I do a lot of my envisioning of the setting and over all look of a completed piece of jewelry. It's always wonderful to be working the lapidary, especially when the piece just gets better and better in a surprising way, as you go along. Thanks for watching!
