The Dawsons are legitimately a family shop. Just opened their first “brick & mortar” shop in AZ. So amazing to watch them blow up like they have. Highest quality custom knives I’ve ever owned.

Nice...I’m the guy that bought the 21” Relentless...I met a John Roy at the California Custom Knife Show and he let me call dibs on it while it was still being finished. Great blades and great customer service from them. Eventually picked up a Big Bear and a Copper Canyon too.

I love fixed blades. These are just awesome. I want.

Been binge watching Birdshot IV. You showed me more about Dawson knives than i knew before today. Along with your reccomendation, i had already decided on Mountain Man bowie and that's on the 5th, Friday.. i am glad in this video Jon said they use a 16 inch wheel on hollow grinds. Im so stoked to get my first Dawson. My big brother has had Barry Dawson knives since the '90's. Im so happy he came home from Vietnam and had a great city to live in and could make knives for a living. Vetetans deserve rewarded. Plus Mountain Man is 9 inch blade length and over 0.2" thick, i haven't seen big MagnaCut knives!

Just got hip to these guys myself. Sick looking stuff. The sheaths look like they should be amazing.

I held a Dawson knife (the handyman) for the first time at the Sydney knife show and it was the by far the best edc fixed blade knife i held that day, which was mostly what i was looking for..The colour wasn't my preference and on further research i think i would prefer the reckoning for my purposes though i dearly wish i could hold one. I am awaiting for one to become avaible with the red handle and i will buy one. I am surprised Dawson is not more well known by the quality i felt in my hand that day.

I'm a fixed blade guy and those swords 😍😍😍 amazing!

I LOVE fixed blades! Dawson has some nice blades..I don't own any of them yet..Bark River and Jesse Hemphill and Lon Humphry are my best so far, but I have looked at Dawson, and they ARE nice! They are pricey, but you get what you pay for, same as a folder. Loving th elooks of that Redemption Bowie! I am a big Bowie nut..my grail knife as far as fixed blades is a Dark Timber OG Grizzly..next to impossible to get your hands on.

start at 3-4 inch blades you can get more use from them as edc instead of sitting in a vault

6:40 won't the parts where the pure nickel intersects the edge be very soft, and wear unevenly?
