I have 5 Amazon puffers with Cory cats and 2 red spot gobies. They are alot of fun. They do sometimes nip at their tank mates. They like to explore the tank looking for snails.

Great video Ali! You and Joe rock. People, before buying please watch KZread videos on trimming Amazon puffer teeth/beak. No matter what you feed them, you will most likely still have to do this!

Have heard several people caution... Do not feed bloodworms very often in any quantity. The puffers may refuse all other foods, even snails... Leading to the risky Clove Oil anesthesia process to trim their teeth. Best wishes to you and your fishes!

Awesome video Ali! I've never came across these puffers before so thankyou for a very informative video!. I have currently 6 pee puffers and 2 green spotted puffers. They are super cute tho!

Im litterally about to buy one but the advise i get online and from the shop varys massively. Such a shame i dont know who to trust.

I have 3 amazon puffers with 1 figure 8 puffer about 20 cory catfish and 1 dalmatian molly. oh and a siamese algae eater and 2 clown plecos. all get along.

Aren’t figure 8 puffers brackish water fish?

15 gallons too small, get a dwarf puffer fish because they only require 1 per 5 gallons since they’re so small

Keep a couple sacrificial fish in the tank to keep the teeth trimmed. You can do snails but they typically dont eat them from what ive seen

I have caught those before on rod n reel......at the beach......yeah this guys can live in saltwater n brackish

Those were a different species these are Amazon puffers that only come from the Amazon river…
