    Hi Gareth. I can't wait to try this trick (the American word hack gets right on my thrupennies) This is a revelation, especially adding your own chilli to boost it. I usually add soy sauce or balsamic to any pot noodle, yum! Thanks for this.

    Another worth-while hack for any hot instant spicy noodles is to add a bit of cheese after the hot water and let it melt into the broth as the noodles soak in the water. Great review 👍

    A great way to make a "claggy" pot noodle is to add the boiling water about two thirds up the pasta, break it up and stir it, making sure it's all coated with the water. Then make sure all the tinfoil is removed then you stick it in the microwave full power for about a minute (or until it starts to steam and bubble) it basically cooks the noodles while evaporating the liquid. However, keep an eye on it in the micro, make sure it doesn't bubble up and overflow (very messy), once it's out of the micro add the soya sauce and stir for a good 30 secs and allow it to cool down. It's trial and error but once you've found a way that works for you then you're laughing The constancy is great, you can easily put it on some buttered toast without it spilling everywhere if that's your thing 🤣👍

    It's not necessary to keep opened peanut butter in a fridge, it won't go off. Plus, if it's stored at that low fridge temperature you lose a lot of that peanut flavour.

  • @Benzo97
    @Benzo972 жыл бұрын

    One way to improve it is to add in a couple of fridge raiders (cut them up to make the textures per bite more balanced) or add 1 or 2 pieces or bacon cut into fairly small slices. I usually leave my pot noodles in hot water for 8 minutes so the bacon gets done quicker than the pot noodle itself. Another nice video as always!

If you can get the Laksa flavour 3 minute noodles, try the peanut butter in that. Laksa is a coconut milk flavour, so peanut butter will go great with it. You can add that Portuguese chilli too if you like 🌶️🔥🤪. Another great POT noodle review today Gareth. Cheers 👍🤤😀

    My tip. Add the chili sauce and fill with water to the height you want. I never crush or mix the noodles at the start. Fold foil lid back on top. Fold a tea towel in 3 lengthways. Wrap it round the pot and cover the top of the pot with part of the tea towel. Leave to absorb. Mix and enjoy
