Amazing... That looks like a commercial/industrial kitchen you'd see for an airline... If I knew I was going to get a several meals of this quality on a flight from Seoul to New York or Los Angeles, I absolutely would not complain.

Tell me... when have you EVER seen a fryer anywhere in the U.S. that clean since the day it was installed???? Even when regularly "cleaned" and up to USDA, FDA standards???? I'll wait..... the attention to detail and perfection is unparalleled. The precision with which the cooks work and just know their jobs and what to do and do it without question is commendable in it of itself. But it's the cleanliness for me! Not just in these eating establishments... which should be a no Brainer first off... but in all of Korea as a whole! We are supposed to be so superior the world over, yet look at places like Kensington, PA and all over the U.S. We have no pride. No care. And it's embarrassing!!! You will not find a single piece of trash on the sidewalk in Korea! And we have human feces and addicts lining the streets slumped over in a zombie-like state. And our government sees no issue here? We should be ashamed of ourselves! The level of innovation and pride that the Korean ppl have achieved in the last 50 yrs is astonishing! Yes, we like to boast how we helped them to gain their independence from the North and to be able to become a 1st world country! But we can't even keep ppl from using our streets as human waste dumps and open air drug markets and markets for selling the items they stole that day. The police won't even try to stop someone from stealing bc it's not worth the effort when the court won't do anything if it's under $1,000! That's insane! They can walk into any shop, take whatever they want, walk right past security, and out the door, and will tell you that they are boosting...and no one will stop them bc the danger is too high for nothing to be done. The city has lost hundreds if not thousands of businesses downtown, yet ppl still have to live there and take their kids to school walking by these ppl and I am sympathetic to a point. But don't allow this right in the middle of town on the streets in open view!! Its ridiculous!! We have do to BETTER AMERICA!! We can't even keep a fryer clean! I worked in food service for years and in the years I worked for this one restaurant... I mean years... I never once saw them clean the fryer. It was emptied and new oil was added. But for it to ever have looked like this we would have had to have purchased all new equipment. If you only knew what the kitchens are like here in America...yet most of you are like "ew, I wouldn't dare eat street food or try food in these Asian countries for fear of food poisoning!😂😂😂😂 Yall have no idea what you're risking daily simply eating at Subway!!!😂😂😂 Way to go Korea!! It's my dream to be able one day before I die to travel S.E. Asia and be able to enjoy the rich culture and food available we simply cannot get here in the states!❤

It's probably some type of corn syrup. Koreans like their foods with some sweetness added. They balance the savory and sweet very well!

I cant wait till my people eat cereal and sugar water...

I really liked part two, where they were cooking banquet style, so there was some love going into the food. I was depressed by the third part of a totally mechanized food process. Just throw the proscribed ingredients in and let the machine do the cooking. No cooking love, no nice finishing, just putting out industrial food. It made me sad as a cook.
