A fit and healthy Amaury Pierron is in a league of his own, he's literally blown the rest of the field to pieces since he came back in Val di sole. This is definitely up there with the greatest runs ever. This is like Sam Hill all over again, Hill rocked up in the mid 2000’s and raised the bar to another level which everyone else was forced to try and keep up with to compete and Pierron is now doing the same, putting nearly 5 seconds into everyone at Val di Sole and 2 weeks later nearly 7 seconds at Les Gets. A legend in the making if he stays fit
Don’t even think an on form Jackson goldstone can beat this guy at the moment, he is absolutely on fire right now, making a mockery of the other pros.

@@marcmaza2821 Obviously open to debate, but Pierron has an absolute balls to the wall style which I don’t think anyone can live with, this could be the raising of the bar just like what Sam Hill did in the mid 2000’s. On this form, if Pierron stays on the bike and doesn’t have a mechanical he wins simple as that
A healthy, charging Pierron seems absolutely unbeatable. I genuinely think he's the current favorite for the series title despite having hundreds of points to make up on Bruni.

The French should have lobbied for DH mountain biking to be an Olympic sport in 2024. With the Olympics being in France and with the French down hill racers at their peak. Guaranteed gold medals.

Downhill is classed to mechanical based. Similar to motor racing. Its not "fair" enough t9 be an Olympic sport.

🤬 thanks for spoiling the replay. did you think about people who might not have a chance to watch the race live and still want to enjoy the exciting race without knowing the result? it's nice to be subscribed to get all pre race vids, but really frustrating to see the winner in the feed before watching the replay. pleeease don't put spoilers in titles or thumbs!!! 😢

@samkeen & @stuartphillips7960 I tried to explain in my original post: I’m subsribed to have all the pre race vids in my feed. furthermore I also watch other stuff on KZread and am subscribed to other channels. In my opinion it would not be too difficult / too much to ask to post spoiler-free titles and thumbs so people who want to watch the replay or highlight vid (same yt channel!) are not disappointed. this obviously affects many people as you can tell from the comments. good for all of them and no real disadvantages for all the others, don't you agree?

@@chai6393 as I said, you have a good point, but even if they change the titles on these vids, some bugger will always give spoilers online. Just avoid social media and KZread until you get a chance to watch the race. Also not too difficult.
I was hoping to watch the replay without knowing who won, in the future please title the winning run video simply winning run without the riders name.

Well, one of them is Aaron Gwin himself. He may not be the most hyped commentator. But he is an expert commentator. Giving good insights. Actually love it. The other guy may not be Warner, but it is not as bad as everyone is saying

Fantastic bike handling skills from a master. Too bad the video was so shit. The UCI are destroying our MTB sport. We saw lots of sky; lots of trees; lots of fog; lots of places where we waited for the rider to emerge; interspersed by some poorly framed out-of-focus snippets of downhill riding. 😡😨

Agreed I think most people agree as well a lot of sports are just getting saturated with virtue signaling commentators instead of leading the silence and the sound of the track build up the suspense they gotta have a suck off party?
