Been averaging 88-92 lately. Started this new swing and move for about 2 weeks now and shot 83. It definitely works just got to keep working with it.

Have watched numerous videos on Moes swing from Todd Graves and read his book, some sections multiple times. Graves teaches how to use this swing with body positions, and when you understand the body positions and hit them, it squares the club at the point of impact. And to hit those positions consistently, you need the correct stance, grip, forward tilt, side tilt, and turn the pelvis, arms and shoulders at the correct moment. All that squares the club without having to think about it.

A simple way to get the feel of the correct move is to place a piece of cardboard close to the club head and take practice swings. Be careful on the first few swings because if you swing incorrectly you will crash into the cardboard. It will quickly force you to make the correct swing. I like to feel like my right shoulder is moving down at the start of the down swing.

Hi, Craig. Love your teachings . What do you think about Moes reach at address? Ive seen two amateurs at a top golf club in Sydney and they have been able too call the shot before hand and control it. To me is open face down due to his width and more time rather than someone with a stock setup

His swing is so unique his face id open because of his weak grip he drops he’s head more than a foot It’s more him not his swing the swing style is quite ridiculous

Interesting that both Jack and Moe had similar footwork while their swings were completely different: Jack's was a two-plane, upright swing while Moe's was a one-plane, flat swing. As for the head drop on the downswing that you mentioned, how do we incorporate that into our swings without mashing the ground by our right foot? More lateral movement prior to the downswing? Thank you!

Thanks for posting really appreciate it .. The truth about the movement down is it’s done gradually over weeks and months as a golfer hits hundreds and eventually thousands of balls. Staying on track with a clear plan and purpose with the correct drills, correct training and feedback. This is the way the only way to become the best player a golfers can become. Unfortunately over 95% don’t know what they are doing.

One of the purest swings to me is Adam Scott, and the simplest possibly Loius Oosthuizen

What I don’t understand is. Harvey pennick. A great teacher said one of the first moves down is to slam the left heel back down to the floor. But your flat footed …..

I would say that you might want to add, that Moe was about accuracy, not distance.

I’ll be covering more and more of Moe i have some great new footage. Your dead right about the ten finger grip. The weak left hand and the right hand mote in the palm. But i feel like the drills i shown help more. And there’s only so much time to keep people engaged

I have my own ideas about what you say, but let me tell you! Double dittos on this comment of yours: 5:31 "...and why don't we speak about the elephant in the room the movement downwards why is there nothing on KZread about moving down when the PGA tour average is 3 inches - seems to be a lot and a lot not to notice! Look I'not..etc." I nearly detest the ENTIRE teaching and coaching 'profession' because it has so many mediocre $100+/hour imbeciles. And so far as the big shot D1 (USA College designation) scene goes, it is a scandal designed to eliminate forever fun in the game. ANY sport involving throwing sidearm or underhand? Or a two-handed backhand in tennis? Two-handed forehand? Golf is stuck between silly and ill-observed conclusions on the one side and fantastic technical readouts via radar tech on the other. I think that, had Moe's father been in this generation and his little Irving wanted to play golf, he would have him in a camp for boys and girls, then on the trackman, then doing push ups and running laps, the eating healthy, then meditating to keep calm, then punishing him for drinking 20 cokes in one afternoon and so on. Ditto Trevino or even Seve. Thanks for this comment in particular and of course for your emphasis on the nature of the turn back into the shot.

Thanks Mr. Hanson I know you take care to share! I hope that your followers know that. It takes a bit of real work and cost and even opportunity to play golf well. But the actual swing is fairly natural and not particularly complex-until you become a biomechanics expert that is! But golf instruction is easiest for new people and occasional golfers if one helps them find the main things! But a main thing is what you just shared! And where do you find that? Or another point: the use of the hands and the so-called release! Yipes! Voodoo.... Keep up the good work.
