the "cover his head" goalie cannot catch the ball because the ball was kicked by his teammate. Goalkeeper can only catch the ball if it was from opponent team, header from teammate, or defensive situation (blocked by teammate then to goalie, deflected, etc). If it was just kicked or backpass by not using head, goalie cannot catch it. You can notice it in FC24
