@@E.P.7131 I'd say amapiano is drum heavy & a bit slower than house music. Amapiano also seems to blend a lot of kwaito sounds. All genres share some semblance from each other.

7 months ago i shared a post about SA (deep) house which i will post underneath this reaction, ur post reminded me of it. You stated "that we, South Africans kept house alive" but i'll think that's wrong thinking and that it's actually the other way around. You guys stayed pure and soulfull and house music is just a product that comes from that. When a person, a culture, a country or whatever lives from the heart it cannot be anything else then HOUSE. House music is there to remind us of some real deep stuff, our true House one could say. The more we fall in the ego. consumerism or let's say "Western" trap that real House or our TRUE being gets blurred. You know that science experiment when they put a plate with sand on it over a speaker with all these nice patterns as a result, to me that's House music it wipes away the clutter from our conditioning, and false beliefs and the result is just magical.
