@@bluefire126 She does have a reaction to him in the previous game too. I think the butcher is just a bad area in general. One of the bad endings is when you end up in his shop.

I like it how for "Kate", it doesn't glitch out or anything, Amanda straight up gives us a clue

Yeah do you notice how Amanda remembers Kate more than she does Sam. When you say Sam Amanda seems confused like she has to think about him, but when you type Kate Amanda doesn’t get shocked or thrown off she just says she misses her.

Choo-Choo - Normal Sam - Concerned Wooly - Optimistic Amanda - Inner Demonic Rebecca - (same) interaction (You) - (same) interaction Butcher - Fear and intimidating. This is quite a chilling to gave secret answers, however what she’s up to? and her tendency is getting rather “disturbing.” of Amanda.

Last one is a reference to original demo for chapter 1, she says that line during the last tape when she wants to go to post office but you take her to the butcher regardless. It's a really cool callback.

I have a theory: What if Wooley’s death was the same thing Rebecca went through before she turned into Amanda? Think about it, Amanda seems oddly interested in dismemberment, yet deathly afraid of “the butcher”. Also, we see that in one of the short clips, it had surgical lights on the ceiling. Methinks Rebecca was killed and dismembered by a surgeon aka “the butcher” and her soul is now trapped inside of the tapes. What they did to Rebecca, Amanda did to Wooley

I think it’s more likely that the butcher is the sort of “portal” point where entities from the real world are brought into the TV one (in one of the bad endings we end up in there) so Amanda probably just has deep trauma about it because she would have been one of the first to be brought through

A theory I like is that her real mother was a cannibal that ate her siblings. This is because of the "Some mothers eat their babues" line from the second game. Because of that, Amanda might not be afraiid of the butcher specifically, but possibly meat in general. Naturally, the butcher sells raw meat though.

@@200_12I think it’s implied she can. In the first game, in Lauren’s B-day tape, the father mentions out loud that Lauren’s favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip. And when Lauren disappears, Amanda says out loud on the tv “Mmm! I love mint chocolate chip!” There’s no way that was a coincidence or she just apparently knew everything about Lauren. She heard the father say that as a response to the show, like when we type in something, that was her live response

I like how unlike the first game, she actually does have different responds to different answers besides "Sam" (Btw why does Amanda hate Rebecca again? Isn't she the character we played as in the first game?)

You notice that when Typing Kate: she wishes to visit her; as if such was in the *norm* at one point. And u gotta note that Kate is Riley's aunt. So could there be a chance for *Riley* to have seen if not met Rebecca in person before? Such regards like that puts their connections to a WHOLE nother level. Because that would mean that Kate's reasoning for leaving the research behind to Riley was a *backup plan* for incase she learns the hamster corporation's most dangerous intentions behind their plans and couldn't rescue Rebecca alone. & seen as how that Amanda and the demon caught on to Riley investigating, the corporation might/will try to haunt Riley down before they ethier find a way to save Rebecca from the demon's control or get the whole truth exposed. 🤔

The butcher one was the only one I didn't think to try. Bring up a lot of questions about, not so much Amanda, but Rebecca

It’s really interesting to think why she’s so afraid of the butcher, but not anyone else. Whoever the butcher is in the real world, is most definitely behind why she is trapped, or at least that’s just my theory in that. (A game theory) The butcher has definitely done something

Anyone else notice the eye-twitch on the Rebecca, Amanda, and You responses? She seems less scared and disappointed and more angry at those responses

Since the first game i had a theory that the butcher might have something to do with her death cause she was really terrified of going to his shop. Or he might even be the one put her in the tv considering there's a literal ending with you being trapped in his shop
