Amanda's VA is so amazing. She can make amanda sound sassy, distressed, and really just brings amanda's personality in place. Wooly's va (which is the game creator) is amazing too. He really brings out the fear wooly feels every time he speaks.

5:01 Anyone recognise how distressed she sounds?? How alot of people have commented she may be 'gaining back control' over herself?? Maybe she remembers what happened to wooly in the meat shop? Perhaps the player NOW with the full release is a different person to the person we played in the first demo's of the game, and that each tape has different outcomes, so she may remember the butcherer killing wooly?? I love how different this version of the game is from the original. Based on my interpretation; In the original, it sounded like Amanda was consciously and willingly becoming the monster and enjoying causing chaos while Wooly was trying to stop her, but now Amanda just sounds like a scared, confused and exhausted little girl who doesnt know what's happening to her or her world while Wooly is trying to either cover things up or keep her on track in an attempt to help her resist this monster trying to take over her body and mind. At first it was clear Amanda was the villain and Wooly was the good guy, making things very black and white, but now the story is much more complex sounding and I just want to reach out and hug both of them. Im excited for how this game is gonna turn out once finished.

When she says "I also feel like im rotting, but its far away" and "I am out there somewhere." I wonder if her soul and body are separated, maybe the soul of Rebecca is in the show while the corpse of her has mutated and rotted creating its own consciousness.

I think because Rebecca's soul is trapped in the tape and not allowed to pass on (nevermind her body was probably just dumped in a hole somewhere) she's got a faint link with her body. And she's stuck like that until her soul is freed and/or she has a proper burial.

If she knows she can’t get out, she tries to bring them to her, and those who don’t follow the rules end up being apart of her toon world still but as inanimate objects. We can see that with one of the ending as the player becomes a piece of raw meat with eyes, meaning all objects with eyes were past viewers. She is so determined to have the player as a friend, perhaps a hint that they are lonely in that world. We see that she gets upset if the player won’t help the lonely kitty and starts to break down. It’s most likely hinting that the reason why she breaks down is because she is in a similar situation as the cat. Whether Amanda is who own person or Rebecca’s trapped soul they def remember something. When we type Sams name she becomes aware and remembers him, and before that she pauses when she sees a daddy chicken. What I don’t understand is why would the Aunt have her watched these tapes knowing of their danger, as well as where the monster of Amanda comes in.

The children probably gets brainwashed. There's a tape where a girl named Lauren dissapears out of thin air. It was her birthday but she was just blandly staring at the screen.

I love how Amanda is trying to take control of her body again and is slowly gaining memory in every episodes :)

Now that I've mulled on it, I think Hamln put Sam into Wooly and Rebecca into Amanda but also summoned the demon to the tape. They're forced to share a body and whenever Amanda is genuine that's Rebecca (being forced into the butcher shop, the lonely kitten, the daddy chicken) Then the cruel part is mostly the demon, or worse, Rebecca's mind being poisoned to do what the demon wants and it gets harder to distinguish one from the other. Now the question is, is Rebecca trapped in the demon body that comes to kill Riley, too?

I think wooly was created by Hamlin to keep Amanda/Rebecca in check since he’s always trying to calm her down and keep her attention away from things like her body rotting or talking abt his birthday. The reason I think Sam is the barn is because it’s the only object that’s breathing and it has very different eyes in comparison to every other building. Also if you type in Sam when talking about the rooster, the barn looks at you.

I absolutely love how they wrote Amanda in this. The original demo had Amanda as much more psychotic and demonic but this new one legit seems like how a kid would turn out if they were trapped into a tv after losing her father and being trapped like that for twenty years. She's not malicious, she's a depressed, angry, pessimistic and confused child. It also really makes sense why she gets so angry at you. Imagine being stuck like that and you're finally able to see someone and all they do is mess with you. You really see that at 7:02

I think some scene with Amanda having the urge to snap or her getting really angry could have added demon visuals (just like this one: 4:58)

In the last scene where she’s coloring, she says “hi! I’m… Amanda.” Like she was thinking about it. Almost as if she forgot her own name. Funny details..

So i noticed something and i want share this theory of mine, so in the "Everything rots" episode, Amanda says that she feels herself rotting but it feels far away, so in the original tapes, if write "lamb" you just might get a Special tape wich shows a location in the middle of the woods, my theory is that place was the place where Rebbeca was burried after them do experiments on her, or rituals, thats why she says "it feels far away", just a theory tho! Edit: Amanda secret is "I'm out there, Somewhere" wich could be her body! by the way, its so sad how she use Wooly as a play thing, both in the butcher and in the surgery episodes, poor Wooly!

The butcher takeover scene at 4:29 is the most important scene for her because it symbolizes how she knows what she wants or where to go, but she's confused and lost. My assumption is this entity is making her do and think things she doesn't want, and if Wooly really is the caretaker from the eavesdropping footage, it's all symbolic of a child that's losing their mind and doesn't know how to fix it. She ends up in the butcher shop and either 1) it IS the candy store and she's confused, or 2) she ended up taking her 'caretaker' there and didn't REALLY want to. And if you really want more, her centering on Wooly and asking if she's 'the only one who sees what's wrong here' is EXACTLY what a child would think. An adult would realize everyone's not seeing these things for a reason. A child wouldn't understand why no one else can. The genius in this is that the player acting stupid, even on purpose, supports the fact that she believes you're acting against her when you really aren't (you're forced to help her eventually).

Wooly is like why am I here with “her”

Her savage moments I can see: “we’re gonna get my friend a special treat!” wooly: “can I have a special treat?” “…” “We’re gonna get my friend a special treat.” another one: “AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN SEE THE PROBLEM HERE” Amanda: “that’s right! Woolys head is broken!”

She's not really psychopathic it's just the entity posessing her. There also may be some other reasons for her to act like that she's a soul of a child trapped in a tape for years could it be that she has been driven to madness?

I agree there's some scenes where she sounds distressed or depressed For example "WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" "WHY CAN'T I STOP IT?!" "Something bad happened"

5:11 at this part, there’s either two reasons why Amanda says “Why can’t I stop it?!” 1. She is trying to take control of the area and make it so there’s a candy store 2. She’s trying to make sure the demon inside of her doesn’t escape, so she wants to stop it from coming up
