I was astounded when I found out that Storm Large is her real name. Then, I realized it actually made perfect sense. I saw one of her solo shows a few years ago. She had just turned 50 and believe it or not she looks even better in person. She is truly stunning.

Storm can out breathe a whale. She is powerful and her phrasing is right on the mark. A superb singer. That pianist is quite wild too, such a higherarchy of musicianship.

I had the pleasure of watching her perform with Pink Martini at the Hollywood Bowl. She's even more mesmerizing in person!

Storm's voice is a stunning and marvelous instrument. The piano player is a magician, playing that instrument like most people flex their own hand. It's a part of him. May I say, though, that a third star of this performance is that dress Storm is wearing. The textile industry was created to culminate in that dress, on her, in that performance. Stunning.

Everything is so beautiful, the song, the singer, the pianist, the trumpet...the passion, the harmony...😘

The piano is dramatic

Effortless voice with ‘headroom’. No auto tune. No forced notes. She ‘leans’ on the song without pushing it. Great performances. Only the voice is more personal than the trumpet. Plenty of light and shade 👍

I listen to this song on loop. Put earphones, close your eyes and feel like as if you are sitting in the live concert. Heavenly experience. God, be kind and give me opportunity to listen this in real concert. Lot of thanks and love to the whole team.

whenever I watch this video... I am simply mesmerized by the entire performance with Storm Large belting out Amado Mio, Thomas Lauderdale on the piano, Gavin Bondy on the trumpet and all the other musicians...

The way she sings the word 'begin' at the end of the song gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it. Such a sensual performance by the musicians and vocalist.

We were there that night this video was filmed. Wonderful concert and Storm Large has great stage presence. China Forbes, we have seen and loved many a time, but Storm is a worthy stand in. Just love this group and their work.

This interpretation transcends! The band is just amazing, and then it is complemented by the singing and put in scene of Strom............. to optimal effect. The video ends playing and I am replaying it because it always leaves me wanting for more, ancore, ancore et ancore... OLE!
