The composer of this hymn Mr Sunil Dutta was a well-known and respected pioneer of Bengali Christian Hymns and Songs. He was from Kolkata.
The Hymn is based on the prayer of St Francis of Assisi, ("Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace") - a prayer much loved by Mother Teresa
The "Kolkata Christian Choir" is the Vernacular Chorus of the Archdiocese of Calcutta.
