AMAANAAIY released in 1998, bagged 12 National Awards.
Ashiya (Jumsheeda), a determined girl from Addu who comes to Malé to pursue a career in teaching is slowly entangled in a web of lies and deception. She returns home with deep scars and vows herself to keep men at bay.
Zahid (Ali Khalid) from Male’ visits Addu on a project. When Zahid is lodged at Ashiya’s house, her world is turned around by his cheerful nature. Ashiya comes out of her shell, eventually succumbing herself to his charms. But fate has different plans she had never imagined for herself.
Ten years later, Zahid who now lives a happy life with his family is suddenly threatened by a call from the past.

Mi film ge asleh kamah balaafa vanee Erich Segal ge vaahaka foiy 'Man Woman & Child" eve. Hindi film Masoom ves ufehdhee MWC asleh kamah balaigen eve. AMAANAAIY ufehdhumah iulaan kohfai vanee ves mi hurihaa mauloomaath haama kohfa eve.
