I'm having a not great night and I immediately went on postmates to order some alcohol but then I thought "hey, that might be a bad coping mechanism for dealing with stress, you have so many other ways you cope with things." Love it, Link! I am studying art therapy and clinical mental health counseling in grad school right now. Art therapy has a unique approach to traditional talk therapy that uses art as a mediator and offers patients additional ways to express and communicate. It can be especially important and beneficial for patients with trauma but could be helpful to most populations! Clay and pottery are very tangible and primal like you said and can be an excellent medium to work with in an art therapy setting. Art therapy is a small but growing field so it's great to hear people talk about how art can be connected to mental health and wellness. Thanks for bringing that up!

I am so sorry , you are going though all that. I know they really helped me when my dad died and during a threatening illness. Laughter truly is the best medicine and rhett and link go along way to healing people. Just know , your fellow Mythical beasts care and are thinking about you.

He was definitely confused about what roles they played (mistakenly thinking he starred in LOTRO) but he was clearly thinking of the correct actor based on his reactions when shown pictures. People tend to remember incorrectly which actors played in movies when it doesn't have a very strong interest in their mind and/or they haven't seen it in a long time. Plus mistaking Danial Radcliffe and Elijah Wood is kind of a super well-known thing that both the actors have actually been asked about during interviews. I actually very much enjoy Harry Potter as well as LOTRO and I sometimes have to stop and think about it myself to make sure I'm not mixing the names up.. plus I had to really stop and think about it with the show Wilfred.

I love thinking about Rhett and Link burning posterboard in back of the studio like Alex and Mike at the end of every episode of Ten Feet Tall.

The worst prank question made me start thinking and I just remembered why I don't do pranks or dares. Many years ago I worked at a KFC. 2 of my coworkers dared me to put honey on the door handles of our bosses car...and on the steering wheel(she foolishly left it unlocked till after this). It was 100+ degrees in the middle of July. They promised to have my back so I started. Suddenly I had that terrible feeling someone was behind me. It was in fact the boss."I just want you to know there is a cop watching you and he has been this whole time." She pointed at a corner of the parking lot. Sure enough. Then she made me clean that honey up and due to the heat it was twice as sticky! 🍯My coworkers just laughed. Lesson learned.

Going off of Link blow drying armpits and genitals, I'm an RN and one easy way to help cure and prevent fungal skin infections is to blow dry the area! 3 most common problem areas are armpits, genitals and under breasts. If it's bad, you obviously need to see a dermatologist :)

The Tupperware prank reminds me of one of my own. When I was 15 my cousin and I made a fake email as an "electrician" and used it to pretend to stalk a couple of my friends. We revealed ourselves only when they said their parents were calling the cops and it would still have been awkward to talk about had we not been roundly punished.

An enigma who needed an anema.

In cold weather I dried off in front of a heater to keep warm. It made my skin itchy. I imagine a blow dryer would do the same if I tried. I'll not attempt it. I'll stick with just a towel for body and dryer for the hair on top the head. (if needed)

I was thinking the other day that Link choices could be either Paul Rudd or Tyler Hilton. It was on my mind after the recent survey of their kids. The young lad Rhett picked for Link would need some filler added with prosthetic putty to cheeks and such, but it could work. Anyone can be made to look more like someone they share traits with with a talented makeup artist. Daniel Radcliffe would be a good choice for Rhett if they could make him taller. Daniel has a pointy chin so they could square it a tad with putty. Wouldn't have thought of that choice.

TOTALLY relate to Link’s name worry. In high school I once called someone (who I’d gone through school with since elementary school) by the wrong name. I thought i’d gotten them mixed up with someone else who looks similar, so I said sorry and said that name. That was wrong too. So now I usually just don’t call people by their name, even when I know it.

He said no Daniel Stern and Dana Carvey, and that’s exactly what I was thinking. There’s a Garthyness to Link.
