ഞാൻ ഖത്തറിലാണ് വർക്ക്‌ ചെയ്യുന്നത്, കർട്ടൻ വർക്ക്‌ ആണ് ഇവിടെ ചെയ്യുന്നത് പല പല വീടുകളിൽ വർക്കിന് വേണ്ടി പോകുമ്പോൾ പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് യൂറോപ്യൻസിന്റെ വീടുകളിൽ വളരെ നല്ല അനുഭവം ആണ് എനിക്ക് ഉണ്ടായത് പക്ഷെ ചില അല്പന്മാരായ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഇവിടെ വന്നു കുറച്ചു കാശ് കയ്യിൽ വന്ന മലയാളികളുടെ വീട്ടിൽ പണിക്ക് പോയപ്പോൾ ഉണ്ടായ അനുഭവം നേരെ തിരിച്ചായിരുന്നു, ഒന്ന് സംസാരിക്കാൻ പോലും സമയമില്ലാത്ത കുട്ടികളും തന്തയും തള്ളയും, അവന്മാരുടെ വിചാരം നമ്മൾ എന്തോ അന്യഗ്രഹ ജീവികളാണെന്ന, പോരാത്തതിന് മലയാളം അറിയാത്ത പോലുള്ള ചില കമന്റ്സ്, ഞാനീ പറഞ്ഞത് സത്യമാണോ എന്ന്‌ അറിയാൻ ഗൾഫിൽ വർക്ക്‌ ചെയ്യുന്ന ആരോടെങ്കിലും ചോദിച്ചാൽ മതി

പാവം മക്കളെ കുറ്റം പറയേണ്ട. അവരെ അന്യഗ്രഹജീവികളാക്കി വളർത്തിയാൽ അങ്ങനെ അല്ലെ അവർ പെരുമാറുകയുള്ളൂ.ഈ രക്ഷിതാകളുടെ വിശ്വാസം മക്കൾ ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ സംസാരിച്ചാൽ പിന്നെ എല്ലാം ആയി. അതല്ലാത്ത ഇന്ത്യൻസ് പാകിസ്ഥാൻകാർ ബാക്കി പാവം ഏഷ്യൻ ആഫ്രിക്കൻ നാട്ടുകാർ മൊത്തം ഈ വക രക്ഷിതാക്കളുടെയും മക്കളുടെയും കണക്കിൽ വൃത്തികെട്ട ചെറ്റകളാ. അവർ കാണുന്ന സംസ്കാര സമ്പന്നർ സിനിമകാർ ഒരുപാട് കയ്യിട്ട് വാരിയാ രാഷ്ട്രീയകാർ പിന്നെ കാറുകൾ രണ്ടു മുന്ന് എങ്കിലും ഉള്ള വീട്ടുകാർ അങ്ങനെ ഹൈ ഫൈ കാർ മാത്രം. മറ്റുള്ളവരോടൊക്കെ പുച്ഛമ്മാ. മക്കളെ എന്താ നല്ല സംസ്കാരം ആണ് പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് ഒരു ഉദാഹരണം അനുഭവം പറയട്ടെ. എന്റെ സുഹൃത്തിന്റെ രണ്ടു കൊച്ചു ആൺമക്കൾ രാവിലെ എന്റെ വണ്ടിയിൽ സ്കൂളിൽ കൊണ്ട് പോകാൻ ഇടയായി. ലോഹ്യത്തിന് ഞാൻ മക്കളോട് പാഠഭാഗങ്ങൾ ചേർത്തു കുശലം പറയാൻ ആരംഭിച്ചു.ഇളയമോൻ എന്റെ രണ്ടു സിമ്പിൾ ചോദ്യംത്തിനു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ മൂത്തവൻ അനുജനെ ഗുണദോശിച്ചത് എന്താന്ന് അറിയോ? 'അമ്മ പറഞ്ഞെ മറന്നോ ആർക്കും ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുക്കരുത് എന്നു'. എങ്ങിനുണ്ട് നമ്മുടെ ലോകം! എന്നാൽ നാം പഠിച്ചതും ശീലിച്ചതും അറിവു പകർന്നു കൊടുക്കണം എന്ന്. നിറുത്തുന്നില്ല അറിവ് പകർന്നാലോ, അത് ദൈവാനുഗ്രഹം ചൊരിയുന്ന പുണ്യം കൂടി ആണെന്നും അല്ലെ. പക്ഷേ ഈ രക്ഷിതാക്കൾ തല തിരിഞ്ഞു ചിന്തിക്കുക, ലക്ഷങ്ങൾ സമ്പാദിച്ചാൽ മക്കൾക്കു എല്ലാം ആയി എന്നാ. ദൈവത്തിനു ഏറ്റവും ഇഷ്ടമായ അപരനാമം ഏതാണ് അറിയുമോ, കാരുണ്യവാൻ എന്നത്. ആ ദൈവത്തെ മക്കളെ പരിചയ പെടുത്തു എങ്കിൽ ബാക്കി എല്ലാം മക്കൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കികൊള്ളും.

എത്ര മനോഹരമായാണ് നിങ്ങൾ സംസാരിക്കുന്നത്,, കറുത്ത വർഗക്കാർക്ക് മാത്രമല്ല, ഇന്ത്യക്കാരായ അൽപം ഇരുനിറമുള്ളവർക്ക് പോലും കടത്ത വർണവിവേചനം നേരിടേണ്ടി വരുന്നുണ്ട് നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിൽ,,

പറഞ്ഞതിൽ ഒരു തെറ്റും ഇല്ല... കറുപ്പിനെ കാണുമ്പോൾ പുച്ഛിക്കുന്നവർ ഇപ്പോഴും ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ട്... ഒരുപാട്

Racism എന്നാൽ വർണ വിവേചനം! ഇതിൽ ഏറ്റവും കാതലായ വാക്കാണ് "വിവേചനം". നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിലും പതിറ്റാണ്ടുകളായി ഉള്ള സമ്പ്രദായം തന്നെ ആണിത്. ഐയെർക്കു മേനോനെ കാണരുത് , മേനോന് നായരേ കാണരുത് , നായർക്ക് ചോവോനെ കാണരുത് , ഇവർക്കെല്ലാവർക്കും പുലയനെ കണ്ണെടുത്താൽ കാണരുത് !! നമ്മൾ മുൻപോട്ടു " കുതിക്കുമ്പോഴും ", എപ്പോഴും ചരിത്രം ഒരു നല്ല പാഠപുസ്തകമായി കൂടെ ഉള്ളത് നല്ലതു.

പുറമെ വെളുത്ത തൊലി എന്നൊന്നും പറയാൻ സാധിക്കില്ല നമ്മൾ മലയാളികളെ. നമ്മുടെ എല്ലാം അടിസ്ഥാന നിറം കറുപ്പാണ്. അതിനാൽ യൂറോപ്യൻസ് അവരെ white peoples എന്ന് പറയുന്നതും ഏഷ്യകരേയും, ആഫ്രിക്കരെയും, നിറത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ വേർതിരിച്ചതും. സായിപ്പ് വെയിൽ കൊണ്ടാൽ ചുമക്കും. മലയാളി, അല്ലെകിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ വെയിൽ കൊണ്ടാൽ കറകും. എന്റെ 20 വർഷത്തെ പ്രവാസ ജീവിതത്തിൽ നിന്നും മനസിലായത് ഇവിടെ നമ്മൾ തൊലി വെളുത്തു ഇരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് പറയുന്നവർ അവരുടെ മുന്നിൽ കറുപ്പാണ്. നമ്മടെ മുടി കറുത്തതാണെകില് അവർ നമ്മളെ അവരിൽ നിന്ന് അകറ്റാൻ ശ്രെമിക്കും. എന്റെ സൃഹുത്തിന്റ മകൻ വിദേശത്തു പഠിക്കുന്ന സ്കൂളിൽ അവന്റെ കൂടെ ഉള്ള കുട്ടികൾ അവന്റെ മുടി കറതിരികു ന്നത്തിന്റെ പേരിൽ അവനെ അവരുടെ കൂടെ കൂട്ടുന്നില്ല. കാര്യം നമ്മൾ നോക്കുമ്പോൾ ചെറുക്കൻ പാല് പോലെ വെളുത്തതാണ്. പക്ഷെ അവർ കറുമ്പനെന്നും പറഞ്ഞു അവഗണിക്കുന്നു. നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിൽ നമ്മൾ വലിയ പ്രമാണികളിച്ചു ഞാൻ വലിയ ആളാണെന്നും പറഞ്ഞു നടക്കുന്നവൻമാർ യൂറോപ്യാൻ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്കും മറ്റും യാത്ര നടത്തിയാൽ മനസിലാകും നമ്മളെ അവരിൽ ഒരു വിഭാഗം എത്ര പുച്ഛത്തോടെയും, വർണ വിവേചനത്തിന്റെയും അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് കാണുന്നതെന്ന് മനസിലാകും.

വളരെ മനോഹരമായ presentation ആണ് sir താങ്കളുടെ. ഒരുപാട് ഒരുപാട്‌ സിനിമകൾ കണ്ട് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട ഒരു സ്ഥലമാണ് US. സിനിമ വേറെ reality വേറെ ആണെന്ന്‌ അറിയാം. ഒരു പരിധി വരെ അവിടത്തെ culture, economy, people എല്ലാം movies ഇല്‍ ഉള്ള പോലെ ആണ് താങ്കളുടെ videos കണ്ടിട്ട് തോന്നിയത്. ഞാൻ IT മേഖലയില്‍ ആണ്. എന്നെങ്കിലും ഒരിക്കല്‍ എന്റെ സ്വപ്ന ഭൂമിയില്‍ എത്തിച്ചേരാന്‍ സാധിക്കും എന്ന് ഞാൻ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. Not once i experienced racism in US, infact i am the only Indian American in my company and was always treated with respect and dignity. If i experienced any it was in India .. the gossiping and backstabbing all happened whenever we visited India. Yet i do love both worlds... both has its pros and cons but my heart and home is in US.

@@SuniPhilips I have never traveled to us or Europe but some people (who are successful both academically & financially successful ) tells me an Indian is always a second class citizen . I have recently read an article a Tamil student had to dress himself as black to get admission into medical school . It seems Indians are now systematically excluded . @@arjunjmenon not at all , the problem comes when Indians want to live in their bubble and refuse to assimilate. When you start loving and taking this land as yours then gratitude overflows not entitlement. Certain ppl live , work and reap everything good this land offers and criticize US and lift india... Indians here are mostly educated, Family oriented, have a fairly decent living, holds prominent positions and enjoys their life. So no there isn't a racism towards Indians. Exceptions might be there but not prevalent.

++One maloo pentecostal (!) woman told me , how can a black man come and sit on our sofa ! and sleep on our beds ? ! ++++Another maloo refused to speak to her son because he married a spanish woman. And this maloo woman's brothers are as black as black can be !! During her marriage she introduced all the brothers to her husband as - you spot an african in the ceremony, (story of the 70's in Kerala) that's my brother !! ++++ another woman started punishing herself by standing and reading the bible so that her daughter leaves her black boyfriend. ++++ They *secretly hope* that their children get married to white people in the country so that the assimilation is seamless !

Kudos to this video. I have an objection to "all lives matter" slogan as it is mainly used to normalize the "black lives matter" protest. രണ്ട് തവണ അമേരിക്കയില്‍ വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. സ്വാഭാവികമായും അവിടുത്തെ മലയാളികളോട് ഇന്ററാക്റ്റ് ചെയ്തപ്പോള്‍ അവരുടെ റേസിസം മനസ്സിലായതാണ്. ബ്ലാക്ക് കമ്യൂണിറ്റിക്കാരൊക്കെ വയലന്റ് ആണ് എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് കേട്ടത് ഇപ്പോഴും ഓര്‍മയുണ്ട്. പിന്നെ പൊതുവെ ഇന്ത്യക്കാര്‍ നാട് വിട്ടാല്‍ ജാതീയത കൂടും. പരിചയപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ക്കൊക്കെ എന്താണ് എന്റെ ജാതി എന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാന്‍ വലിയ ത്വരയായിരുന്നു. കഴിഞ്ഞ പത്തു കൊല്ലമായി കേരളത്തിന് പുറത്താണ് ജീവിതം. ഒരു തവണെ പോലും മലയാളി സമാജം പോലുള്ള പരിപാടിക്ക് പോവാത്തതിന് കാരണം അതിലെ ജാതീയതയാണ്.

I have heard in Chennai and friends experience in Kerala that most of the time, they used to get drugs from someone from Nigeria or Africa. This was an eye opening video message for a malayalee. What you said is very true. Thank you for these thoughtful video message. Mainly Indians including me are scared of blacks because they were protrayed as criminals drug addicts just like India is full of slums & starvation. Also India had it's caste system for a long time. Almost the same thing. It's so sad when we learn about the black history, how much they suffered and still suffering. It's time for us to learn the facts & respect them in all aspects. We can start by watching documentaries in Netflix about their history. It's time to change. Well said sir. Thank you

പേര് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടും മറ്റും മനസിലായി ല്ലെകകിൽ ചോൻ, ചൊത്തി, കണക്കൻ, മാപ്പിള,നായര് എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് വിളിക്കുന്ന സെറ്റപ്പ് ഇപ്പോഴും ഉണ്ട്. ഇവർക്കൊന്നും നേരം വെളുത്തിട്ടില്ല bro

നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിൽ ഉള്ളത്രയും ജാതി, മത വിദ്വേഷം ഉള്ളവർ ലോകത്ത് എവിടെയും ഉണ്ടാവില്ല. ഒരുപാട് കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ മലയാളി പുലിയാണ് പക്ഷേ ഇൗ കാര്യത്തിൽ പട്ടിക്കാട്ടത്തേക്കാൽ കഷ്ട്ടം.

ഒന്നും പറയാനില്ല. മലയാളി മലയാളി തന്നെയാണ്. വിവിധ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലൂടെയുള്ള എൻ്റെ ഈ യാത്രയിൽ സായിപ്പന്മാരും എന്തിന് ദരിദ്ര രാജ്യങ്ങൾ പോലും വൻ ആദരവ് നൽകുമ്പോൾ പുഛ ഭാവം മലയാളികളിൽ സ്ഥിരം അനുഭവിക്കാറുണ്ട്. ഞാനിപ്പോ ഒറ്റ മലയാളിയേം ഇന്ത്യക്കാരനേം കാണാതിരിക്കാൻ വരെ ശ്രമിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി. അത്രേം നെഗറ്റീവ് ആക്കിത്തരും അവർ. നല്ലവരില്ലെന്നല്ല, പക്ഷേ അത് കണ്ടെത്താനായി സകല മാന അഴുക്കുകളും പര തേണ്ടി വരുന്നതിലും നല്ലത് മൊത്തം ഒഴിവാക്കുന്നതല്ലേ

എന്തൊക്കെ പറഞ്ഞാലും എനിക്ക് ജോലി സ്ഥലത്തു ഈ വിവേചനം അനുഭവിക്കേണ്ടി വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഒപ്പം സ്ലം ഡോഗ് മില്ലിയനെർ പടത്തിലെ പോലെ ഞാനും ചേരിയിൽ നിന്നും വന്നവൾ എന്ന വാക്കും കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിങ്ങളുടെ വല്യപ്പൻമാർ എവിടെനിന്നും വന്നതാണെന്ന് ഞാനും തിരിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചിട്ടും ഉണ്ട്‌. മലയാളിയോടാ കളി !!!
