You have covered most of the points regarding 'aware parenting' very nicely. Along with language/mother tongue, I feel cultural moorings are very important. In New Jersey, Dr Jani and his wife have been running an institute called Vidyapeeth for last 40 yrs. I have seen parents from a radius of 200 miles bringing their kids on weekends. The kids get excellent exposure to Indian culture including dance, music and history. Several professionals do honorary service as teachers and mentors. This institute has become a lodestone for families of Indian origin. 400 kids get admission every year. Most of them graduate from Vidyapeeth! Worthy of emulating.

You explained very well. There are blue ribbon category school in its districts in USA. They are having good standards of education. My kids studied in blue ribbon category school in NJ so I can give positive opinions. Other thing should be consider is the locality where you live in also major factor for your kids` development. Normally south Asian children are bright and well educated students in US with some exceptions. Regards.

About that question about private and public school. It all depends on the care and proactiveness practised by parents towards their children. If the children are given proper "sanskar" and guidance, then no factor can ruin their children's lives and careers.

I have 2 years old son and I feel worried, scared about what will going to happen when he grow up and will be in school, how the things will be? You made an amazing video sir. One question I have is and I don’t know if you have already made a video on that or if not I would wait and appreciate if you make a video on that. And that is about the school ratings here in USA. I live in NJ and here houses are so much expensive and so do property taxes. Specially when you are looking for a good school district you will end up paying very high for house and everything. Jaimeen Bhai for better education purposes living in a good school district matters for Kids. House Prices and Taxes have gone up in better school districts. If you can’t afford housing in best school district then explore options such as affordable private schools or Charter Schools. Also look for School Choice program. In School choice you can send your kid to different school district’s public school if they offer school choice. No matter where you live make sure that the crime rate is low and community is decent to live. Best wishes for everything 👍.
