My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

This is why I buy sturdy handmade leather handbags made right in my town of Lancaster county PA. They are affordable beautifully made and built to last.

Im the same. Loads of pretty bags. Never even left the house. I know bags costing over £1k or covered in logos wont leave the house hardly ever if at all. Still brought a few with full knowledge of that. My telfar bags get used on repeat. Starting to think unless its brought as a collectable piece with the intention of never to use maybe its best not to buy it at all. It is hard tho

I used to feel scared to use my bags. Now I feel life is short and I want to use them and enjoy them. I just try to be careful where I take them.

Getting insurance on my bags helped me overcome this fear. I enjoy them much more now. Also buying second hand is a good way of reducing that fear. They already have some wear and tear. I did let go of several bags that weren't working for me (shape, size, color).

100%. Argh, insurance is actually scary to be honest! Everything is so damn expensive 😩 But I love doing preloved too, many of mine are preloved! Definitely gives you some peace of mind 😌

Love the metallic Every thing I keep in my closet is looked after really well, regardless of the price. If I used a bag for even just one day/meal out…the contents would be removed as soon as I got home, and if it was a leather bag it would be wiped over. The straps would be removed/it would be stuffed and stored back in its dust bag. Just the same as if it was a pair of high street trainers, I would wipe them over/remove any grass or stones that got stuck in the sole and back into their containers they would go 👟 and the funny thing is we don’t even wear outdoor shoes inside the home 😂 I might be a little bit crazy, but that’s okay 😂 I am that person who washes a makeup brush before reusing it, it’s just how I like things to be 😂

Hi Tania. Nice to see you.🥰 As of now I don’t have any bags in my collection that I’m afraid to use. I suppose that could change if I was to spend $$$$$ crazy money on a bag. When I got my first luxury bag, my Speedy 30 back in 2017, I did keep it in my closet for some months. Then I just had to take it out as I realized how ridiculous I was being. What was the point of looking forward to this bag and then not using it. I do have some bags that I don’t use as often but that’s only because they’re more of a special occasion bag.

Love and enjoy I say!!! 😊

Tania, my paisan! 💕🇮🇹. I am half Italian but I only knew my Italian side so it’s the only heritage that I know. My grandmother was also very careful with her things, but she did use her jewelry and good items when she went out. It was definitely the idea of working hard and preserving what you had that made her careful. I think you do need to go ahead and use some of those bags and really enjoy them, especially the Fendi and the LV. I had a Coach quilted studio bag in carnation pink that was gorgeous, full leather, beautiful color, and it’s probably the only bag I was ever afraid to use and I ended up selling it. I just worried about damage whenever it left the house. To me it was more delicate than even my Chanel bags because of the color and the leather.

IMO handbags are for fun. If certain ones aren't for you because you're scared to use or whatever, I would either relax & enjoy or sell. (My Italian grandma never used her "parlor." japanese resellers, sellers by in large in comparison to all other countries look after their handbags wonderfully. That’s why most ppl find their gems from the Japanese market.

I am a veteran of the luxury goods industry. Coach is not a luxury brand but, a mid-range brand. Tanner Leatherstein, who closely examines luxury and mid-range brands by cutting them up, has found that Coach bags are better made than some bags within luxury goods brands. I loved earlier Coach bags which had more organic-like leather, and am glad to see the brand is going in a new direction, after having steered away from it's earlier origins when the bags were popular decades ago. I say use your bags. That's why you bought them. They're not meant to just sit on a shelf. Before you know it, they will be out of style. Enjoy your bags!

Absolutely 💯% agree, Coach really is beautiful quality - especially their vintage and their 1941 lines. You're right, the bags just need to be used, otherwise it's just a waste of time and effort and $$$$$!!!!! I've been a tad better since this video 😁

Hi sweetie, I have 21 lv bags in my collection.,I buy most all pre-loved but in new or like new condition. I use every one of them. I love them think they’re beautiful and cost a lot of money so therefore I will love and enjoy them. If something happens I’ll deal with it. I used to save them in case I had to sell them. Well I did have to sell 5 of them in 2021 to put a deposit on my house., which was worth getting rid of them. Now I just enjoy them and go on. Hope you can move past this situation. It seems a shame. The Coach 1941 bag is stunning! I bought the LV Coussin PM in Paris it retails for $4,700 +tax in the US (I live in NYC love your shirt :) and I use it a lot! I hope you start using your beautiful bags. If not, are you going to sell them? Do tell :).

The question is do you want and expect to sell them? Then sell them when the market is right. If you got them to use them, make peace with the fact they will not be perfect and will get dings. If you will use them only in special occasions, pick a night and a bag and go out. 😊 Leather, raffia, canvas all deteriorate! Even sitting on the shelf, they will break down!
