I have a small busiess. Myself, a receptionist, and one assistant. When our CPA first heard the rumor that the business loans would be offered, she had us collecting all kinds of expence data for the business for the 2018 and 2019 tax year. She also called our small local bank and arranged to be "first in line" when/if the applicaton period opened. We go every penny she asked for and her small two employee business and some other clients did too. It is the BIG businesses with subdivisions of 500 employees and lawyer teams that sopped-up most all of the gravy. Round two is underway now, get in line. I miss working so much!

yes it does, Yes it does, and I can't believe they try to get away with that crap. I watch and RV travel vlog and the guy has an ongoing joke that it doesn't matter where he parks his RV, whether it be an empty campground or empty parking lot, another RV will park right next to him and run their generator. It boils down to the fact that these people have no clue as to how their actions affect other people.

They just don't care

The airlines withholding refunds are no worse than the cruise lines who do much the same! Am I the only one who doesn't remember any ads that play on videos. I consciously shut down my memory or distract myself to something else. Great vlog!

Here, in the beautiful little province of Prince Edward Island, Canada, a fair chunk of our economy depends on tourism and the cruise ship industry. Like most places on the planet, the economy has sunk. On the up side, when the pandemic hit our shores our Chief Health Officer reminded us that our Island was very much like a cruise ship and convinced us to rigorously adhere to all the guidelines. Luckily, during the last eight weeks, we have gone down to zero diagnosed cases, zero deaths, and not one person hospitalized for Covid19. Yet. It’s been rough complying, but so far the pain seems to be worth the gain. Happy riding my global brothers and sisters, we’ll all have to work together for mutual respect and wider parking spaces, eh?

I recently purchased the iasus helmet speakers for my helmet I am using them with my sena 10s . But I'm pleased with speakers but I use a limited noise blocking earplugs so I dont think the volume of the speakers is as loud as the stock sena speakers o well.

Ha, that bothers me too regarding the parking!! Happens in both the car and m/c! Since I don't mind getting extra steps/walking in lately, I'll park at the other end of the parking lot. So while yea it's nearly an empty lot and rather than have someone park next to me near the store, I'll make it harder for them to do that again now.

You are not alone. I appreciate you voicing your thoughts about everything that bothers you because it is refreshing to hear someone speek my language. I am an avid motorcycle rider (since 1958) and have had many bike (1800 Goldwing included). The parking lot scenario is one for sure. I saw your photo and that's it. I can't figure it out as well as many other situations. So keep up the good work and hang in there. You right on and not alone. By the way I really wanted a new Goldwing but you talked me out of it. All the negatives did it. I don't ha a dealer close to me so that is a big one. Also what I would have to do to get it right is another. I have a Garmin Zumo 590 that I move from one bike to another and my car. I ha a Sena cheek mount in my HJC helmet. I ride about 10K miles per year and am retired. All good. I've paid £250 GBP in the last year on repairing parking dings, and always park as far away as possible. There must be a parking virus.

But that was sheer mean-spirited by someone who believes himself to be special. I was riding in West Texas this past weekend (May 29 - 31) and it happened to me. I parked way at the end going into a Flying J - away from the door. I went in to grab some lunch and when i came back out... Not only did some one park next to me, but they could not keep in in between the lines. It was a small car and easily fits in the lines, but the DS tires were completely over the line... Its like "really" if you can "color inside the lines" you should retake your drivers ed... LOL

I enjoy your vlogs so I’m now I am a subscriber. My next bike will be the Goldwing so I’m living my dream through your eyes. Be safe out there!

Yes your right the parking thing happens or used to happen to me, I have 2 cars now, a 110 Pretty rough looking Landrover it's actually perfect inside and out, however what I did was add some patches of Primer to make it look rough. No one parks near it!! And my non shopping car is a Bentley so that just goes out on special days, neither car was really expensive, but the landrover scares people when they see it, and no one pulls out on me from junctions. So buy a humvee!!

Here is my parking story. I was traveling in WV on my way to a bicycle touring trip. I stopped at a strip mall to get a sub. I parked away form the subway for the walk. When I came back there was a truck parked so closed that I could not open my driver's door enough to put the sub in. And yes there was another space on the truck's driver side. I had to get in from the passenger side and climb over everything I had packed in it. Well I was a little more the PO. Soooooo, after I more my car up I when back and removed the valve stem from both passenger tires. My daughter thinks I'm evil. LOL What do you think? On another note, I don't have a place to work on my '19 Wing but still got your video. I can use it after this panic is over at a friends garage .

Yes, that parking would drive me insane. P.S. I always park the drivers door next to an island or curb to protect against a ding in the drivers door. I’d rather have a ding on the passengers side if some fool has to park next to me. Pp.ss. I have a 2019 Goldwing tour. I have put 5,800 miles on it since February 2020.

I don’t attempt to park away from others. Makes you a target. I just look for spots that have plenty of room between the vehicles on either side.

I feel your pain about those people park next to when your vehicle is parked "in the middle of nowhere" in a parking lot. I park in the boonies with my truck for my convenience as much as anything. The longer walk doesn't hurt either. I think those types of drivers take that as a challenge to make someone angry. I'm putting the miles on my new Goldwing and I'm enjoying it very much!

Normally, Southwest Airlines only gives credit for a cancelled flight. Also it has to be used within a year of whe you booked it. We had booked a flight in January for an April 2, 2020 trip to California. We cancelled at the end of March but only have until January to use the credit or loose it...much less than a year. I've reciently learned that our flight credit will be good until September of 2022 instead of January 2021. Great customer service SWA!

I have had that very thing happen to me in a parking lot... And some how my cart lost control an had a mind of its own and took a big peace of paint out of the other vehicle. .

I don't mind the 15-30sec ad's. It's those 3-5min ones that I will click Skip! Thanks for another ride, Cruiseman!

Your not out of line getting upset with today's drivers that like to park right up on you. I think most of these peeps were not taught or spanked as children. They somehow think they entitlement to do whatever they want. They come from California that's your answer. They took over Colorado in 80's and 90's. Now since 2005 they are taking over North Texas. They won't stop building. Well I want another motorcycle, It would be a newer Gold Wing 1800. Someday

I left the adds running this time , did you change out your mirrors ? I saw you had Chevron's in your mirrors . By the way I enjoy your videos , I've learned more about my Wing then just reading the manual. Hope your other business picks up soon .

Technically, yes. But, I would not ride very far or very fast before replacing the tire.

I think I burn my hand brake. Not working. I forgot it 2 times for 3 milis...🤒🤕 Can it make a problem or that is it...

My wife had trip planned in May to fly from California to Georgia on Southwest Airlines to visit relatives. Of course they cancelled the flight and she got an email telling her that she has a voucher to re-book at another time. She called and wanted her money back and they wouldn't give it to her. She didn't know if the airline would still be in business down the road. If they filed bankruptcy, she may not get her money back at all. After several attempts, she finally did get a refund. :)

What a mess! Sorry for yourvtroubles Chris, I was a small business owner for years and I think I'd feel very desperate right now. My brother in law owns an accounting firm that does Restaurants only. I have been driving Lexus' since 1994. Mostly, the ES models and one RX. We decided last time to try the NX. Honestly, it is my least favorite of the bunch. Rides a little too rough for a Lexus, IMO.

@@cruisemansgarage We have have owned own 6 Hondas over the years /o any problems. Purchased a 2014 Acura RDX which had major transmission shifting problems (shudder). Transmission problems are now common in many Hondas. Looking at a Lexus as a retirement car for my wife. :-)

Yes, totally agree, been there, done that, and always park next to a curb, far, far away. Don't even get me started about the handicapped isle about cars parked there illegally. Another pet peeve of mine is stopping to shop for an item and then have everyone glom all over me, sometimes reaching in front of me to get something I am looking at. I've been forced at times to pick an alternate isle, pretend to be shopping, wait for the glommers, and then go to the isle next to that one which is the isle I really wanted in the first place. VERY annoying and unfortunately consistent, every time I shop, especially in Way-Mart in the grocery section. I've proven this to friends many times via example and I'm convinced it's a curse. The only method that seems to work for me is grab it fast, don't slow down, and just go, allowing the glommers to stand there scratching their heads, wondering why they are there in the first place, except to annoy me. The world we live in.

I park at at an end slot as far away from the door (need the exercise anyway) and invariably, someone will bypass the empty parking lot to park right next to me. Lemmings!

A pair of pliers to 2 valve stems on the same side of the offending car would cure that behavior. I didn't realize about the ads - from now on I will let the short ones run - the 5 minute ones, sorry, not so much!

NO! You're absolutely not the only one this bothers. Like you, I try to park far away from the crowd in order to escape the dings and scratches that come with parking too close to the business doors. Yet, when I return, sure enough someone has managed to park right next to me. I think it may be a security concern. Folks seem to feel more secure, I guess, if they park their vehicle close to someone else's no matter that it means they're going to have to walk as far as I did to get to the front door. Geez! As far as the credit reporting companies are concerned, of course, it's a gimmick!

First, thanks for all your great videos as they've assisted me with maintaining the Wing. Having had two small business in the past I feel for you losing the income and hope you can take the hit. The parking thing. Being a former contractor I've put peel stick waterproof membrane on their tires, it's like adding wheel weights and once you've driven with it on the tread it's hard for the average person to figure it out and really tough to remove. A cordless drill and bit run into the lock then break it off. Lineman's pliers to a valve stem. Hang in there things will get better.

You're not the only one when it comes to parking lots. I used to have a 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo, my baby. I would take it out on perfect summer days to cruise around. Every once in awhile I would stop at a store to pick up something. I would park as far away from everyone that I could and walk like 2 city blocks to the store entrance. When I would return, in less than 15 minutes, there would be some idiot parked next to me! That happened twice and I never stopped at a store again with that car!! The credit report and FICO scores are a joke! Mine has gone down since I paid off my house! WTF?! I'm going to be penalized because I paid my house off?!?! Okay...that makes NO sense! UGH!

That's America for you. I live in Australia and have been riding motorcycles for over 40 years and have never had that happen to me

I don't think we get any more based on the length of the ad. It's only pennies in the dollar anyway. The people making money on KZread have millions of subscribers and views.

Yes... I always park out for the same reason... People don't care about their own car, so really don't care about others. And someone, who feels they need to be part of a herd or something will park next to me... Why?

I/We know exactly how devastating the lack of the cruise industry has been. We own and operate a pet board facility in Huntsville Texas about 80miles North of the water, day one of the shut down we lost 3 months of reservations overnight, going from good income to no income... We applied for EDIL and got it but it took a long time.. We are a very diversified outfit, 3 business under one roof, Kennel, Portable Buildings/Carports, and AMSOIL right now the Buildings and AMSOIL are keeping us going. No your NOT the only one..

recent subscriber, pretty funny though, the parking lot one, i do go out of my way (up here in NJ) and so far no one has parked close to me but i imagine its got to be some type of passive aggressive behavior? maybe not, could be i'm looking too deep into it, but that is funny you have an empty lot and plenty of parking and still they park so close to you you can't even open the door. People just don't care, that's probably it.

Same thing happens with morons parking here in Australia, I saw a video the other day of a car that parked away from everyone else, his dash cam captured a moron that reversed across and an into his car then drove off!

It happens in the UK too! I’m sure that they do it on purpose

You should be extra aware when you find a vehicle next to yours. That is a strategy sometimes used by car hijackers or strong arm thieves.

Re: the parking lot issue, you're definitely not alone since the same thing happens over here in the UK too. We also have smaller parking spaces than you folks in the US, so even more important to be careful about where you park....ask me how I know! As an example, few years ago I had a brand new car, less than a week old. I parked it miles away from anyone only to come out and find one car parked right next to me and a fresh deep dent in my door! I reckon they did it deliberately. Of course there is no proof that they did it so I couldn't do anything. It's really sad how some people just don't respect other people's property.

YES, I actually parked my car in far end of an empty parking lot at the mall. I had a car parked so close to mine drivers side of my vehicle that I had to use the passenger side to get in . Yes i was pissed off, but i let it go because i was in a hurry. Probably should have called the cops.

I'm Bob Wheatley and no your not the only one. I've had stickers made to put on cars that do that very thing. It pisses me of greatly. I live in the KY state in the Owensboro area.

What wraps me around the axle quicker than anything else is the person that parks in a Handicapped Parking spot, gets out of her car, and tap dances into the store with the alacrity of a fleeting antelope. She knows- or certainly ought to know- assuming that the sticker was awarded her husband- that it's NOT for her to abuse. For some folks, not finding that extra-wide parking place close to the store entrance and the electric shopping carts means that they can't shop or they have to cruise the parking lot until Mizz SO-And-So trots out to her husband's car and leaves.

That parking issue was ridiculous. And yes that makes me mad.

It does happen. We have always bought trip insurance, so if a cruise line cancels a cruise, the insurance covers it. Same for flights. Actually, everyone should buy travel insurance to cover cancelled flights, but it is not cheap.

I’m the same way when parking. I park far away from others. Whenever possible I park where no one can park next to me on one side, like a curb or island. And I’ll park as far away from the parking spot on other side. Yup, someone will be park next to me...and on or over line. I believe these people feel a sense of power to do this. How did credit reporting agencies even got all that power? When I turn 18 I joined the Air Force. In my 4 years tour in Germany, I bought everything my wife and I need to establish a household. We got what we needed or wanted only when we had the money. Yet, at the end of my tour, when I was returning to the states, I didn’t have any credit score cause I did it on my own. So you have to buy stuff on credit to get credit. It should show you have better financial management skills if you buy only when you have saved the money to buy it, instead of financing everything. How crazy is that?

Yep Cruiseman, matter where you park, there always some jerk that's gotta get up in your space, never fails. Go figure, some nut case thinks you've found a gold mine, or something. I agree 100% on these credit reporting agencies, I think their unconstitutional and shouldn’t be allowed. Why does all three have different scores, they say it’s because of what agency your activity is reported to, so are they competing for companies to report to them. One big scam

Infuriating. People parking next to my car when they have the entire lot to park, and I always park on the far end of the lot as well.

I don't understand - you don't appreciate the oblivious bovines that for some reason are allowed to drive on public roads (and then park wherever they want?) Can't speak for the apps from the credit companies - but I don't trust most aps (and am this far from getting rid of my smart phone altogether) - my guess is the "reason" is that hwhen you load the app they can more easily track your every move. Yeah, and the airlines scrambling for cash - you can understand given how much business they lost but then again it is a crappy thing for them to do.

Try parking at the far end of the lot, instead of the closest to the doors, and you may find less people wanting to park near you. I agree that Credit agencies are a scam., and have nothing to do with your credit worthiness. Totally disagree with respect to AA. As a professional traveler for over 25 years, who flies around 150,000 miles a year, mostly with American, I can assure you that ALL airlines treat passengers as an inconvenience, and American is no worse than others. Once you make top level FF status, then things change. I have previously flown with Delta, and United, and have colleagues who currently do. Each has their strengths, and each has their weaknesses. You need only fly AA out of Dallas internationally, if you want a direct flight, most airlines operate from DFW. You can fly from there to one of there Hubs, and catch an international flight from there. (e.g. Delta to ATL, or United to EWR). The options are there, just may take a bit more effort.

Only in the USA could you cancel your credit card, thereby lessening your credit risk, and have your credit score go down! The credit rating companies support the banking / credit card industry and they don't want you to stop charging!

I wondered about the in stream add revenue. I don’t mind the fifteen second adds at all. It’s the 5 minute adds that I click away from. They take so long to get to the point that I am too disgusted to listen to.

On the parking - I assume that behaviours like this must be down to sheer stupidity. However your example with your car must have been deliberate. People who leave their cars at an angle with the front wheels on full lock should have their cars towed away and crushed

From what I've seen and heard, the geeks who part right next to you do so because they figure THEY won't get scratched because you are on a nice skooter. I heard a lady one time who told me they move over if a skooter is in a lane because they know the biker will get out of the way. I love my GoldWings (and almost every other bike I've owned) but I sometimes wish they'd be equipped with ground to air missiles. I agree with Daniel in that good manners and civility are gone. From this point on, I will play through the 'skip ad' commercials.

There are people who park like that on purpose just to irritate strangers. I knew a woman once who did this regularly.
