I don’t fish for bass, but have had some Jon luck fly fishing. Definitely caught a PB brown trout today, may be the biggest trout I have ever caught.

This has got to be the best year of your life. Had a kid and caught who knows how many DDs! Go Jon keep it up!

The "keep fishing never stop" dedication pays off big. Congrats Jon. Been one a hell of a year for you. On and off the water, brother. Thankful to be able to come along for the ride. You are blessed my friend.

Hey Jon, it would be sweet if you could do a GoPro setup video so we could see how you film from your chest. I want to film like you but it would be great to have your advice first

To be fair I’m sure the bass are a lot bigger in Texas than in Oregon so don’t feel bad

If anyone wants to know the lake it’s Possum Kingdom lake. The Brazos River is right by it too and it’s an absolutely gorgeous river. The striper run will be insane this week and next.

That's what I thought I saw the graph thought it was Whitney at first but, when you say west texas, that's not possum kingdom is more like north central Texas

@@highjenks3d Same it was the graph that caught my eye. If you live in the DFW area though and even outside of that area, most people consider anything west of Dallas west Texas, and anything east of Dallas east Texas.

Lol, I live Buda, Texas I can assume anything south of Dallas is south Texas? Lol, DFW, northeast Texas. El paso, far west texas Amarillo the panhandle of texas, Lubbock is considered the south plains of texas to me anything west of abilene and San Angelo to midland, Odessa that's west, texas past that far west texas El paso south to Brownsville the Rio grande Valley from Brownsville up to corpus Christi to Houston, the gulf coast San Antonio to Austin south of I 35 to me that's south texas me, I'm in the most beautiful part of this entire state the hill country this place at times is quite possibly the most beautiful place on earth, I've seen the hills as far as you can see a sea of blue under a sky of blue, some years better than others but those great years so much blue you can't tell where the ground ends and the sky begins.

I've been all over the world, and there are some beautiful places but, the hill country with the exception of and thats just a maybe Yellowstone over to northern California, are the most beautiful places on 🌎

I feel the excitement. Just upgraded my PB from 5.42 to 6.80 a couple days ago on Clinton Lake.

The waters are still 43 degrees here in Oregon. We won't even tough bass for another month, so it's trout & big chinook salmon until then. Another banger Jon!!!!!
