Storm Collectibles are single handedly one of the best figure companies, extremely underrated in my opinion too. What really sold them for me too was their recent makings of soft goods for their figures. I only own 2 Storm Collectible figures and those are the Baki Hanma and Yujiro Hanma figures from the GOATED series Baki The Grappler. They are definitely some of my favorite figures because they can seriously do any and everything you could ever wish a 1/12 scale figure could do! From the soft plastic to the immaculate articulation. This Scorpion figure, as well as their new Ryu figure is something I really want to get sometime in the future! Edit: It was worth getting him for 175, I was able to get Yujiro for retail thankfully, Baki on the other hand, I had to get in aftermarket and most people sell him for like $200+. I was lucky to find a killer price of $165 (in my state too!)

I got the storm collectible sub zero and scorpion. I paid over $100 dollars a piece. I don't regret it at all!

Yes, just a few days ago I saw it was announced that Storm Collectibles lost the Mortal Kombat license. I'm hoping that means that maybe Jada Toys picked it up and considering how great their Street Fighter figures have been, I'd be very happy if that turns out to be the case. Speaking of Jada Toys, if you're into Street Fighter at all, those figures are particularly great, especially for $25.

@@buzzsawgr81 Mcfarlane made some good MK figures, I own the MK11 Sub-Zero and Joker but I'd love some classic MK figures that are highly articulated. Jada's price point is perfect too, especially considering most of these Storm Collectibles and Mcfarlane MK figures can go for so much nowadays as we can see😅

Retail was 49.99 for Scorpion and Subzero, then it went up when the rest of the rainbow was released, they were really underrated when they came out

Action figure 🙏, and I think you made a great decision to buy this Mortal Kombat Figure for $175👍, because it is more expensive in Asia, and according to rumors, the Mortal Kombat Figure series seems to have a new copyright agent, so storm Collectibles will cancel them from the official website, so these products in the past will become sky-high prices in the future😆

That’s about what I paid for mine when it normally goes for 200+ close to 300 depending on where you look an sub-zero goes for the same if not more I paid $250 for my mk3 sub-zero

My honest reaction is that it might be rare, so it might be worth it or not I really doesn't matter What matters is that cool figure. 😎. Ps. I think the fire has more of a Pazaz to the figure.

Its probably worth $200 in the eyes of a scorpion fan. Id pay $175 for sure. I grew up on mortal kombat though. Saw the movies in theaters. Had all the video games. The OG scorpion might be the most popular fighting game character of all time next to Street Fighters Ryu

Lobo for Sub-Zero would not be a fair trade at all as Sub is about $200-$300. Regardless, great video man

Worth it - because you won’t ever see a Mortal Kombat figure this good from anyone for a LOOOONG time, including Storm. 😢

Na that's worth it. I hunted down each of the MK1 Ninjas from Storm and holy crap those were expensive lol. MK1 Reptile cost me ~$250 and I got him so I can complete my set. I recommend looking at the Ermac and Noob Saibot from Storm.

Hopefully mezco can pick up MK again.. if so it'd be a wrap. Storm does great with the accesories and all the diff molds. But a character like scorpion was practically made to be a one 12 collective figure

If you love the character and only wanted him from the Storm line then it was worth it. If you bought it to complete Storm's MK collection then don't as they've lost the license and won't be releasing any more figures.

I got him when he first released and I can easily say I’d even pay $300 for this. I love this character SO MUCH and this figure perfectly recreate him. Also.. I almost got that sub zero but it was a scam and he was actually broken in the legs but he hid it saying it was new. But as soon as I came back I saw PLASTIC WRAP HOLDING THEM UP

I have motaro kintaro reptile smoke sector cyrax and kung Lao and I’m a big fan of mortal kombat

Very nice! This is basically an updated version of the first MK figure in the line, so the engineering is much better. Sadly, the skull head is slightly off, like you mentioned. There was a Sub-Zero shown with this mold, but like many of the Storm MK prototypes and teases, I’m not sure we’re going to see them now that the license has disappeared from their site. Luckily there are other Sub-Zeros in the line that look good with this guy! Glad you like the figure, the old school costumes and great articulation made this my favorite figure line. I’m sad to see it go.

Figure is definitely worth it - I loved them so much I picked up additional ones and repainted some - Custom Chameleon, Tremor, and Light Blue Sub Zero.

Your not crazy for spending that money. Strom collectables are top tier. Now u need the subzero to go with it. I got the UKM3 Subzero and MK2 Smoke. So worth the money.

personally I have yet to see a 6-7 inch figure that's worth over $100. I do have a couple of the gears of war figures from storm (marcus and cole), so I will agree that storm does some great figures.

Yeah I think you overpaid. My view is that for as good as it is, it's not the greatest likeness to the source material, it has some minor issues (too bulky, the "H" elbow joints, the scale), and we'll likely get a version of this character, with this look, sometime soon from another company which will rival this one (fingers crossed).
