What is covered call means Mam pls can you explain

Mam doubt is this our future mam lets say call-buy "A"=100 hedge call-sell "B"=80 lets say A goes from 100 to 150 B goes from 80 to 120. then over all profit is 10rs if its considered as gambling hedge will be discarded and the overall tax will be 15rs then we will end up in loss. second condition if markets moves in opposite direction A =100 to 0, B= 80 to 0 total 20rs loss but if taxed as gambling the tax will be 24rs total 44rs loss both winner and looser all will end up in loss, so anyone who was trading with hedge from march till now all will loses capital,house everything.

The trade is a good risk to keep. You should keep holding the spread market looks overvalued right now.
