My daughter Caro, Don’t cut your hair. Instead find a hair dresser to improve growth of your hair. Don’t think of shaving to have a bald head because you are still a young lady and you want to look presentable while enjoying your youthful stage in life. BC, try putting the coconut oil in between the braids. Your scalp is dry. Do it nightly and tie your scarf around. Your scalp may feel better. Traveling mercies to you❤🙏🏽❤

Safe journey BC. What you are wearing is a hat, not cap.

BC your scalp is dry, keep your hair n head moisturized all the time. Vaseline and aloe Vera is also good for your head. We usually use coconut oil. Try all these n they have no additives in them

Everyone is different but perhaps you can try a good dandruff shampoo or a more natural product. Ask your friend you're going to visit if she can recommend something , or Google it ? good luck and have fun. 🙏🏻

Have you tried apple cider vinegar or baking soda? I watch ‘finding Ian’ and he admitted the same dandruff problem. You should probably reach out to him for advice.

I thought that I had lots of dandruff before I even went to the doctor and they tried all kinds of medicated shampoos for dandruff, and it would only get worse so much itch and everything so then my regular doctor wasn’t in, but this time she was, and she looked at my scalp and she said that is not dandruff that is dry skin so she recommended me some coconut oil to buy and I’ve been using it as a coconut oil after I shower and it’s been working wonders I suffered so much six months of trying all kinds of dandruff shampoos

BC don’t shave your head you have a beautiful smile that goes with your hair just keep washing it you’ll be just fine

When you shave the head wash it with some teatree oil and shampoo and rinse it with apple cider vinegar mixed 5drop of teatree oil in the shampoo to wash the head and mixed the vinegar with water also

You need to oil your scalp and use hair moisturizer. Look at the natural hair videos it should help. You can also use aloe vera to wash and massage your scalp with castor oil

That coconut oil or any others oils products will not do the trick to remove the Dandra and itchiness from your scalp. So again try it you may like it. 😊

Wash your hair work Aloe Vera and lemons Keep on for 20 minutes also they have lots of dandruff shampoo and product available. Extension and tight braids is not good for dandruff. If u decided to cut off Google beautiful short hair cut for natural black hair.

Baby carol if you are using syntetic braids in your hair it will scratch because its not natural and the chemical they put on those braids makesxhead scratch and hive dry scalp even dandruif .as i mention befor you put those braids on your hair it better to wash it first .

Be washing your hair thoroughly with warm water then use antiduduruff oil for the scalp . 3 weeks is so long without washing hair it can smell really bad.

Your hair is beautiful, too bad I am near you to help you with your hair! When my hair use to get Itch,a lot, I realize I needed to wash my hair more often! B.C don’t say you don’t have good hair, you just don’t know how to take care of your hair! When I was young like you! My hair use to be hard and dry most of the time, until I discovered, that my hair needs more water, more often, not one a week, not every 2 weeks but at least every 4 days! I can’t use oil in my hair, because my scalp would get itchy and breakout in sore! I just wet my hair with a little water and comb it out and single braid them in 4 or 6 braids! Then my hair becomes very soft!
