my hometown is Alytus, I lived in this city for 29 years
I'm from Alytus originally, as you can see it's beautiful and clean
20:30 on that hill was the wooden castle of alytus which teutons refered to as "aliten" thats basically where Alytus started😁

Coming from someone who lives in Alytus. it is a city that is changing and becoming more beautiful and tidy as time goes but a part of the town known as "Pramonė" which means industry is not as tidy and charming because well as the name already tells.......Industry🤷
I grew up here. Thanks for the childhood memories. Town seems newer, upgraded etc. Will visit this year.

@markIRE1 There is no such word in English: “lithos” In fact, you might be surprised, but in Lithuania today many Lithuanians live very well, and even better than in England, Europe and the USA. And yes, it is worth remembering that people throughout history have emigrated in the past and emigrate to this day, in search of a better life and new opportunities.

@@ritagi как так?! Он выпускал шикарную плащевку , не купить было , или его обанкротили специально , капец очень жаль ,работал с этим комбинатом до распада СССР

@@user-sr5xg8pv7o В Алитусе очень много комбинатов обанкротились, кто то специально эта сделал... ☹️😢Кому то было выгодно.. Очень много людей уехали за границей..
