To everyone in the comments saying that something seems off here, you do realize they're probably just tired. Whenever one promotes a movie there's this thing called a press day. On that day they get interviewed multiple times by different people who basically ask them the same questions over and over. Wouldn't you get tired of that and want to zone out?

I agree but look at Adam's face, it looks like his mind is somewhere else.. like something really bothered him or maybe he was upset. Plus, his reactions are weird..

This is probably the 15th interview they have done that day,, so you can't blame them for looking a little tired, haha

I'm just revisiting all the Step Up movies and the reason was because of Adam "Moose" Sevani and his impeccable dancing skills. I appreciate the freedom he shows when he dances and I believe that he is like that in his life. And I also believe that Alyson Stoner is is over confident which can pass as arrogant. To me, Adam, seems reserved and a bit shy and is not much about all the "interviews" and "pomp & circumstance" but only about the dance. Hey he could have been creating a dance routine in his head for all we know and the questions were disturbing his flow, lol. Dance on Adam, dance on!

Hanna Ali...please listen carefully what Mrs. Stoner has said…….she indeed mentioned the whole title of her song…..also Mr. Sevani is almost tearing up ….after he mouthed unclear....whatever was meant to be said.

It looks like he was crying. I just want to hug him. I hope whatever was going on at that time has gotten better for him. I've always loved Moose. It's been great watching him grow up in these movies.

He seems aggravated and like he's holding back tears.

I was reading the comments and I will agree Adam Sevani seems just uninterested in this day. I don't know anything about their personal life, but it just seems like Alyson was trying to help him out and talk more because he just seemed so opposite of his character Moose. He took a while to answer the interviewers questions and most of his answers were know more than a couple of words, then he would turn to Alyson. You have to give them something to work with. Also when she starts talking about her song Dragon all he says is, "Dragon, That's what You Wanted." He was just repeating the name of her song. Who knows why? He went and supported her at the "Lights, Camera, Cure" concert in March, like any good friend would. I can understand every one wanting to read into their actions when they are together and 'off screen'. I adore their on screen chemistry and think people are wanting that relationship to be real. Who knows if it is, but they are both very talented and I hope they both make big names for themselves.

Nah. I think Adam is just a Cancer ♋ and Cancers are super misunderstood and usually weird af, but incredibly talented and loving. She looks like she understands. Probably also why she also took the lead on a lot of questions too and why I imagine he didn't mind sitting quiet throughout most of the interview

@@eon001 I recently got interested in the step-up movies again from my childhood and ofc I looked up the cast and where they are now. It's been years and Adam still doesn't seem very happy. He is entitled to his privacy and we should all respect that but I do wonder what happened.

My cousin used to dance with Adam Sevani. He told me that Sevani was taking some meds that was causing him to zone out and sometimes be a bit slow. Also the meds wouldn't let him sleep well so I guess that's a factor as to why he seem tired and wasn't being himself.

Becci Dancer…..this is only speculation…..but Maybe ….Mr. Sevani had feelings towards Mrs. Stoner and had hopes …...and she has other plans for her future. And he would have had no place in her life …..If Mrs. Stoner is speaking almost alone …..she may think that if he does not want to answer ….she has to! He seems very tired and sad ….almost tearing up.She seems to me very supportive towards Mr. Sevani ...it seems to me not like they would kill one another or they would throw mean words at one another ...it rather seems to me ...that she has her clear goals for the future while Mr. Sevani ….seems to be lost.....in the air….somehow! He seems very thoughtful minded and rethinks his words carefully ….and has his gentle voice. And if something bothers him…..he retires and distracts himself. That is ….what I do feel. Maybe there are different issues….who caused such a tension between them!

I thought I was the only one who felt there was a weird atmosphere between them two. They're best friends so not sure why they're acting weird towards each other. But yeah, Adam Sevani looks like he doesn't even want to be there. He's probably so done with the whole Step Up franchise

I think he probably said something about her music because when they asked him what he listen to on his ipod he said said he listen to what's current. And she was like oh do you? So maybe he dissed her music or something.

They're just tired and being honest. this interview is also mixed with the Truth or Dance one and they were laughing at eachother and joking around in that one so stop looking "into" things and let the actors do and say what they want.

I think they have to try for the onscreen chemistry, right here, the body language, damn, when she talks about her song, he was like...

GooGooFoGaga……...he sighed very hard in frustration and was almost tearing up. Yes that is very clear to see….I do have my ….assumptions….as to why! But I can be as well very wrong on that! If you now see Mr. Sevani as of today 2018…..he seems to me very stiff and hard …..he is described as a very very shy Person. I would wish him all the happiness he deserves! And as for Mrs. Stoner.....she has to fullfill her goals! She would not back down...and if that would be the case ...it would be a miracle!

I'm 7 (8 almost) years late to this, but to add on "they look off here": more then the actors seeming off which is probably just exhaustion, I think the interviewers questions are also just a bit weird(?). Like they are kinda long winded, not going the way u expected, stuf like that. So imagine being tired and having to reply to these almost unpredictable questions. It also feels like the interviewer wasn't exactly sure what she was asking. I know it's important to ask new and interesting questions, but if ur question is longer than the answer ur getting something might be off

Cierrie…..on some interview with Mrs. Stoner ….she pointed out ...that the kissing Scenes were very awkward …...for Mr. Sevani ….as he Always has seen himself and her as a "brother and sister" to each other! Maybe there was more going on on his part…..in the end! More interest into her......and she was honest to him….Maybe there were other issues as well!

Jerry Chase....no not at all....but personally I think she was very straightforeward. No …...she was not mad at him….but very focused on her future goals. She ….in my opinion was very supportive towards him. If you watch closely ...she Always looked at him ….in a suportive manner. Maybe they dissagreed on some issues…..it happens ...that is life we are in to!
