When I was 8 years old my father pointed to our front door (we were sitting in the living room) and said that on the other side of the door (basically all of humanity) 95% of the people were ‘idiots’. At the time I was shocked to hear such an expression of cynicism from him and it truly bummed me out that he would think that way… I’m 71 now and I’ve concluded that he was off by 3 or 4 percent… Great narration, very well done!

Depends. I live in a real nice neighborhood, never lock my truck but always lock my house. Last fall at 3 am a couple kids were going thru my car. I couldn't believe it. Doesn't matter where you live, lock your shit up.

I don't think there's even paper checks anymore that someone could steal. Edit, I guess those pre-approved credit card applications would be valuable. Other than that I can't think of anything someone could get from the mail.

Unlike others, I understand your point. Many of these wrong-doers were not successful in gaining entry. However, should someone successfully enter your home ready to do you harm, you have to be ready. The way I see it, if someone is brazen enough to enter your home, then they are capable of doing anything once they gain entry. It’s important to know one’s state gun laws in advance of such possible occurrences. There are specific steps to follow when dealing with thieves, vandals, and home invaders before and in the course of introducing firearms into the situation. And additional steps to follow should you have to fire your weapon. It’s when gun owning homeowners/renters don’t know or don’t follow their state laws, that they get into trouble. Then there are those who want to bash people for owning guns to protect themselves and loved ones. So many dummies out there think that 100% of the time, they will be able to talk their way out of what could become a deadly home invasion and therefore, have no firearms readily available. Some of them will find out just how wrong they are. Particularly, when it comes to these junkies. You cannot reason with them. When they are under the influence, they have a false sense of invincibility. Which means, they will not scare easily, they’ll be more combative, and they will have zero regard for anyone’s safety, including their own. Should these junkies be armed at the time and the victims aren’t, they might as well kiss their a**es goodbye, if they aren’t able contain themselves in a safe place! And that’s just the druggies! Some of these criminals out there aren’t even high. They are just ruthless and evil and wouldn’t think twice about annihilating an entire family in order to leave no witnesses! And that can happen even after their victims have complied and let them do and take whatever they wanted! As the saying goes -- “It’s better to have it and not need it. Than to need it and not have it.” Because guaranteed, in those desperate and critical moments, people against guns for personal protection will wish they had one or that some Bruce Willis-type neighbor would come stealthily in to save them. People should rig up containers of paint above their porches, attached to the parcels on their porch. Grab the package, paint rains down from overhead. Preferably something that stains the skin. 14:06 I have alot of metal front porch furniture worth $1800 and I have concrete floors on my front porch as well. So I chained every piece of that furniture with thick chains and huge locks to the concrete floors. One of my neighbors has an insanely aggressive dog, and my dog has been attacked by a boarder collie, so she gets scared of black& white dogs. Well, one of my neighbors has a big dog that's like dark brown, but it's just suuuper aggressive and will run up to the fence and bark and growl when we walk by. One day the neighbors were walking him and they don't ever use a leash, and he charged my dog. When I picked her up and put her on my shoulders (she's a chihuahua pug mix, but her safe spot is my shoulders so it wasn't the first time she had been up there or anything. She curls around the back of my neck and lays down and holds on). Im so fucking grateful for that because right when I got her on my shoulders, the neighbors dog started jumping on me trying to get to my dog, and I had to shove him off me while the owner stood there watching like 40ft away. I was so pissed. I wish they'd train their dog, but they don't seem to care at all. The woman didn't even apologize, despite watching her dog jump all over me, snipping at my dog. Some people shouldn't have pets🤷‍♀️

A little tip. If this ever happens again and you have even the slightest injury, from a turned/sprained ankle to a small nip, claw, cut, or laceration this is an automatic payday for you my dear. Also document (video) its aggressive behavior, charging the fence in its own yard... right away. Video the loose, unleashed "walks" and forays in the neighborhood, etc Mayb even video going to her door and politely requesting she do something about this situation and get her response on video (I assume she will be rude, contrary, exhibit typical bullying demeanor but even passive is good for a future case, This does not make you Karen, this is a very serious issue!!) If the homeowner has even a basic homeowners insurance policy you will be offered a minimum of $10,000 dollar settlement under their liability coverage (section II) with few questions asked, a check in your hand in as little as a few days, as long as you agree to sign a waiver of pursuing further litigation, indemnification from any physical/emotional injury incurred, however minor IN THIS ATTACK, not future ones btw.. I have a background in HO underwriting and claims adjusting and carriers don't want to get near these claims since settlements and legal costs can run into hundreds of thousands of dollars even with only pretty minor injuries (can claim trauma, psychological injury, etc) and juries are generous, they know this, as people tend to hate this kind of out of control animal crap. But mainly, the attorneys cost so much (the really big carriers have their own legal dept, but those guys make big bucks and it is costly to them as well), they would rather just cede to your threat to file a suit and your settlement is far far cheaper to them, they want to write it off, close the books on it ASAP. So I suggest you have your cellphone ready to video when passing this house or proximity to document an attack. This might be the best revenge because she will surely be non-renewed for coverage next policy period and it will cost her at least double to get coverage, inferior coverage too, from the high risk "assigned risk" pool, state plans. Plus you take a nice vacation and/or slap money down on a nice new ride or toward downpayent on a house away from this lunatic!! Be sure to photo, document your injury, get a doctor's examination and a written statement from him. Contacting animal control is valid too, of course do this as well, you should have already actually. Don't be bullied, sorry this happened to you.. EDIT: In the unlikely event that their insurer would not settle, take it to litigation. Almost any personal injury attorney will take something like this without a retainer, paid only when you are, just saying. They love these, easy money usually.

I haven't gotten that far in the video yet, but I'm watching the neighbors dog attack the other neighbors dog that is being walked on a leash. That dog that needs to be reported, and it has to be under the control of the owners otherwise it needs to be put down. It's vicious. It wasn't provoked, it made a beeline for that dog. That's a scary animal.

Lol, one of my friends moved into a new rental property and found she had a crazy neighbour who used to steal her mail by putting her hand in the slot. So my friend put in a strategically placed box of cat shit... She watched from her window as the neighbour ran home screaming. She also filmed the nutcase, who was on a disability benefit because she was apparently unfit to work. So my friend filmed her aggressively chopping branches off her trees and going running with her dog and she took the film into the welfare office......the neighbour was taken off her invalids benefit and put on unemployment where she had to go on several interviews a week and prove that she had done so.

I heard my Sephora order hit my deck while watching this, and immediately got off my lazy ass and went and got my package because now I'm all worried someone's gonna steal my mail 🤣🤣🤣 I used to live in Seattle in a not great area and ive had several packages stolen, but I moved away from the city and live in a super safe neighborhood

57:02 something like this happened a few days ago when a package was misdelivered. The nice neighbor took the package to the owner. It was caught on the owner's Ring camera. Then the owner, before he looked at his Ring footage, grabbed his gun and he and his teenage son went out to confront the guy who was returning the package. The dad and son didn't see him but they did see a woman parked in a car a short ways away. Her car was running, she was stopped checking her phone. The dad and son walked up to her car and fired over seven shots into her car. One shot went thru the empty baby car seat and stopped in the back of the driver's side seat nearly hitting the woman. The man and son were busted and now both will be spending some serious time in prison all because they didn't bother checking their Ring camera before going on the hunt. SMH

I remember reading about that incident. It’s absolutely ridiculous how quick they were to shoot at someone and never stopped to think that they were wrong.

The "woman" without pants that was walking around the truck actually wasn't a woman 👀.

I love his voice, “Who is this? Dog The Bounty Hunters mother, stealing packages” and about the “Bargain Bin Beyoncé”, “Yeah, I’ll say your name..to the police” 😂

Knowing that many Americans own and keep firearms at home, these people are certainly taking a chance. They are either very brave or very stupid. Probably the latter.

Here's 3 rules to follow 1st never open your door to anyone 2nd never let anyone outside of family you didnt invite over in that include coworkers 3rd always have something nearby you can get to if someone breaks the door in for protection i had a friend he had a beautiful center fold wife, their con was to go to the bar she sat alone guys would see her sitting there alone and send drinks to her table, after she had about 4 bottles of bud in front of her, he would get up from the bar walk over and give her a big kiss and sit down and start drinking now she was this thin petite model looking woman her hubby was a short over weight man a total mismatch, but their love was real, Vicky was full term her husband and i worked together, that Cursed day she was followed home by a heartless butcher of a predator, Vicky opened the door to him when we found her what would've been a new daughter still lay beside her attached by the cord, no items were missing except one Vicky lay in a pool of blood missing were her Legs, this predator had a leg fetish, he was caught by Walmart security cams when he on a bicycle had her legs and was dumping them behind the store, if it hadn't been for someone watching he would've gotten away with it because those videos roll over the next day! Vicky was a shy person in public but when she was with her hubby they had np displaying their passion for each other, her hubby lot a daughter and the love of his life! all because she opened her door without seeing who it was first, so protect yourself, even on a date never go into a room alone with a man unless you plan on giving him, because once you walk into that room you are his,

I get so sick of this same comment on every single one of these type of videos. People go out of town sometimes, people can be at home and still be busy, people work second shift or maybe third, Amazon delivers late sometimes. There’s so many reasons this may happen and y’all are so dumb you can’t think of any of this?!

My recommendation : Git you a dog or 2 so they’ll let you know when somebody gets close. Shoot, give ‘em their own surveillance monitor too, if you got a fancy doorbell. 💜

I do not understand that a package is just left at the door, the delivery person rings the doorbell here and if you are not there you will receive a new time, for example Friday between 13:00 and 17:00, if that does not work, you can pick it up at the post office of course on presentation of your identity card. Very sometimes neighbors also accept it for you, which is of course reported to the residents, because you will receive a note in the mail with every delivery.

More people need to get lit up. We wouldn't have this problem.

I am wondering, if these people are grown up drug babies, mothers/fathers that took drugs while pregnant. Its an epidemic now. These behaviors are disturbing; sometimes causing dangerous situations. Mental health needs to be a top priority in this country.

Don't answer the door, call the police immediately, you can usually tell by their body language if they're up to no good, don't just scare them off, they will try to hurt someone else.
