I know reviews do better than photo shoots, but could you sneak in some more of your "total look" content? We loved seeing you done up for the Béyoncé show & the more recent set with your sister. I'd love to see more of your editorial side, but I'm happy watch reviews for it. In terms of reviews, I am always looking for a tinted moisturizer that is cheaper than, but equally transformative, the bareminerals but I'm also not supporting "whites only" (or light to medium only, it's rooted in the same rotten concept) shade ranges any more, so I may have the best option at this time. And any reviews that involve eyeshadow looks or artsy makeup, yes please!

@Ohemaa a new, deeper Curve Case has been released! It's shade "Deeper than Deep" I would love to see you test it out 💜

This is so cheesy, but it’s true: as a ridiculously pale person, I no longer want to buy makeup that only puts out only shades of beige. Color theory is real, undertones are realistic info when we buy makeup. I have zero time and patience for the jerks putting out twenty or less shades period. I probably make no real difference, other than doing my small part. Also, I’ve notified the companies I currently use, that don’t, apparently, care. Haus has proved that multiple shades and undertones can make money. Also, I want to see many options for my friends whose skin is as deep as I am white (note paper and I are twins.). So, that’s the only resolution I am making.

"The jerks" 😭😂 I've been feelin similar... I'm a beauty supply store make-up lover alot of the drugstore & probably highend make-up is made in China (possibly contain lead) and they get it over here & charge us 10x the price paid to mk it & the shade range is 😑 I'm not wasting my time & money on these brands! As for high end brands- I ain't playing w/them either. That's why I left lancome right on the shelf... Couldn't match my shade right off the rip when swatched! 😮👊✌😂

100%!!!! I'm sick of hearing excuses, there is no reason for what is essentially "Whites Only" makeup, in 1924 that was disgusting thinking & had been challenged throughout the US, even in places like Montana, so it's absolutely insanely WRONG in 2024. If you can't afford a whole base line, either fill a NEEDED niche, which in a global economy is not beige, or be prepared to launch a true line. We gotta call it out, incessantly incessantly incessantly. Tbh, I don't want people to see me using obviously racist cosmetic brands. Can we just agree that releasing a beige only or mostly beige line simply is racist, and not have to listen to these tortured PR statements? Time saver!

no I am exactly the same. I am also not always in the color range cuz i am thay fucking pale and pink NOT YELLOW OR NEUTRAL so oxidation is a bitch to me haha I just know people who understand undertone and are aware of the existence of darker skinned clients will also have smth for me. and it does make a difference. I bet many people feel the same way as we do. it will def catch up with a lot of companies teehee as it should

I’ve been obsessed with Mitchell’s multi use products for a while, he’s created a unique space AND I’ve noticed he attempts to really make inclusive shades. With all the products out now, there is absolutely no reason every person shouldn’t be able to find their shade, undertone, and in a finish they want. The market is waaaaay too saturated not to be for everyone, and I really appreciate your honest reviews.

And the fact that you can COMBINE colors and do different things with them is absolutely AH-MAZING.

That palette is amazing! I usually shy away from complexion palettes because often half or less of the shades are usable for me and they feel like a waste of space and money. It’s very rare for me to find complexion palettes where every shade can be used for something and makeup companies still have more for medium brown girls than they do for very dark girls.

Yep he made his products inclusive because he was working with a black model and the products he used made her look grey and ashy and he was mortified and said he would never do that to anyone again

That is a very... interesting pallet to say the least! It IS nice that they had a shade deep enough for you to use as a contour, but the last shade looked more like a color corrector to me. Plus that yellow blush might be able to work as a highlight, even if that's not what it was intended to do.

The dark orange on the left side of your face can also be used as a color corrector for deeper skin tones. A little will go a long way then cover with one of the other shades on that side the two middle on your face to create a good base. Look pretty but I would have loved if they were matte. A bit too glowy for me.

I see an improvement in brands being more inclusive, however they do forget about the olive undertone women like me. I have a cool olive skintone. And I am light in chroma. But lots of brands think olive skin leans medium to dark and greenish-yellow. But some of us are that light olive-cool ( close to being a very light brown tone).

I miss your vlogs and declutter videos so if you can bring those back would be grateful. I am behind in your videos because I was in GA with fam so I am binge watching your videos today. Made by Mitchell seems to be popular in Europe and not here. I see Made by Mitchell reviews often when I look at my European influencers but not the American ones.

Ahhhh the Byredo samplers of perfumes and a print by Henri Rouseau called "Sleeping Gypsy". Its a very old painting, and that name would not be acceptable today. They're both SOOO. LOVELY. The print since my childhood and the perfume in its complexity and its gloriousNess Speaking of glorious. You look gorgeous as absolutely usual. So far 2024 has been wonderful. Our goal is finish building our house. My favorite gift from Christmas was a full body padded heat and vibration massage pad. It’s amazing. I have EDS and it helps better than any pain medication.

Your skin looks so beautiful! Is the faint silver-pink glow on your skin an optical illusion created by your eyeshadow & the light reflecting on your forehead? I dont see any product that would do that, and my eyes might be adding in the pink if that makes sense? You always do such cool artsy techniques...

lol. Ok so the slight pink glow is coming from the blush I always add a bit of blush for my forehead and that maybe giving the illusion

I use Deep but I got my sis the Deeper than deep. Please try it

I am light skinned and wear makeup once or twice a year, but I enjoy your videos. 🤷‍♀️ You are so beautiful, and I hope the hate on your hair didn't get you down too badly. I'm also not USAmerican and Black hair is so amazing to me. The pressure to change your hair makes me sad, but we live in the world! People gotta do what makes them feel good! Hating each other for different choices only helps the oppressors - sorry to rant. 2023 has been defined by my shit health (2 years post chemo and living with unrelenting fatigue). I resolved everything before December and it’s all good. The hair thing as soon as I addressed it I let it go becuase really people of the internet will say what they want regardless

You are the best, i love watching you ❤❤, january 30 is my birthday, i got some dresses for me 😊 I loved the contour on you, i think those bronzer shades are too near your skin tone, maybe if you took a bit of the contour shade, one that is your skin tone and a bit of orange could, but still i am fearfull of casting more a Gray color when applied

Im ngl, i dont want to make anyone too jealous, but i got myself a chocolate orange for christmas and ive really been enjoying it 😂 But really my favorite gifts were ones i got myself😂 I got a bunch of stuff from One Ocean Designs that im really looking forward to having, especially a photo i got of Ocean Ramsey swimming with the biggest great white ever recorded. I have a painting that was left with the house when we got it and ive always wanted to put something else where it hangs, so i got her iconic photo and im so excited to hang it up and be able to look at it all the time🫶

@Ohemaa haha Ocean Ramsey is a shark scientist and conservationist, One Ocean Designs is her company where she sells merch type items. A chocolate orange is basically chocolate that is shaped like orange slices and it tastes like orange and chocolate. They come in a ball like an orange, and you slam them onto a table and the orange falls apart into slices and it's super fun😂😂 I always got a chocolate orange and an Asian pear in my stocking, so now they're staples for christmas

Towards the end after July my consistency and failed

I really really wanted this but i could only get the deep version which is obviously isn't going to work for me. I finally managed to order the light one, it arrives before my birthday too which I'm happy about. I just discovered Made by Mitchell, it seems like a great inclusive brand, this deep one looks great because its so deep, as i said I'm mega pale but i do notice certain brands, a lot of brands tbh don't do properly deep, rich tones in their contour and bronzers. For example, Too Faced, i bought the chocolate bronzer in deep for myself, thats disappointing in terms of inclusiveness, they're a big brand so no excuses. I'm glad these newer brands are showing how it needs to be

Absolutely lighter than the pictures for sure, most things in the way of dark skin products is rarely as dark as the pictures online.

The palette is not light I have this in my collection, maybe the lighting in the video made impact. There are no yellow shades though, 2 orange and 2 pinks

I often think about how powerful whyte women's influence on the make up industry is and how if we had wanted, all we had to do was demand it, and didnt, because we didnt care. Another expression how whyte focused/centered north america is.
