For sure my favorite as well. I wouldn't consider myself a diehard for these guys. Ive listened to all of their albums many times and definitely like them overall. So if a diehard sees this... have her vocals gotten considerably better and better with time? She just sounds amazing on this albumn.

I never cared for this band until I saw them live. A bunch of my friends invited me and I was like “alright, not really my thing but sure”. Seeing them play I was blown away. Just the cleanest set I’ve ever seen. Everyone just so dialed in, it was an experience. Big fan now

On their 22-23 tour they really kept it tight for sure- and Rankin was really using her pipes to the max, it was gorgeous!

I became a fan a few mnths before I saw them here in Sydney at the end of last year, but they were just so *magnificent* live, and it made them one of my favorite bands.

After I saw them live here in Sydney last year, it occured to me that Alvvays are what it would sound like if Joni Mitchell fronted the Smiths, and I'm ridiculously pleased with myself for that analogy

Why does it sound so much better when you zoom out
@concertconnect6256
It was recorded in stereo so when you zoom out it records a lot more ambient room and crowd noise (utilizes bottom mic), and zoomed in it records more directly from the stage (utilizes camera mic)
