This is our last day on the water in the 2012 season, Aaron does an overview on his boat, and a trophy musky interrupts his train of thought....
Жүктеу.....

this is going to be my first boat, simply because of their support for uncut angling

Just ordered my first NEW boat...a 2018 Alumacraft 185 Competitor tiller. I'm like a kid waiting for Santa. Thanks for the recommendation and maybe I'll see you on the water. Woo hoo!

I'm 55 years old and we just bought our first boat, an Alumacraft Classic 165. We haven't had a chance to put it in the water yet, but we are anxiously awaiting crappie fishing in April and bass fishing in the summer.

Dominik, I have been a Humminbird user and advocate since Side Imaging came out. They are leading the way in innovation, while Lowrance is playing catchup. The Lowrance we were using last fall was CameramanJay's and was convenient to have for a second sonar in the boat, but getting into dualling networked Birds was awesome this year. All the companies make highend fish catchers, but the functionality of the units, customer service, and communication with MinnKota products give bird a huge edge.

with a 15 Yamaha 4 stroke kicker. It's a tiller boat and it was the biggest tiller boat on the market at that time. I've the Mertens hydraulic power assist steering system in it too. Mine's custom painted, like I said, to match my GMC truck in fire engine red. Have the big screen Lowrance electonics in it, 4 AGM batteries, Minnkota bow mount, Raytheon marine band radio, & splash guards, I fish muskies. Sabaskong Bay, Crow Lake, Eagle Lake, N.W. Angle, Mille Lacs, Vermilion. Nice fish in this vid

Wow! Nice fish. A boat should be just a tool for the angler and not an item of worrisome debt. Mine is a 1986 Ranger. Looks good with care. Still floats, motor is sufficient, plus - the 2 live wells operate just right. Boats don't catch the fish. The angler's skill does that with a bit of luck along for the day. Thanks for the video.

How slow can you troll using the outboard on that rig? Can you get it down to the .8-1.5mph range? Those rod holders are freakin awesome too. Any info you have on them would be greatly appreciated. Love the videos.

Aaron, Nice job. Pretty impressive. I am looking for a boat now and am really liking what you are thrown' down about the Alumacraft. I was searching for a V17 or 18 Bass Tracker until seeing your vid. Why a tiller and not a console is my question? I would be fishing more by myself than with others so I am looking for some feedback Jeff

I've a 05 Alumacraft Tournament Pro 185. You notice how they changed their paint scheme to run the top band color down to the spray rail unlike your Navigator 175? They changed their paint scheme in 06. I have the only 05 Alumacraft in the world with the top paint color run down to the spray rail. I'm custom ordered that paint scheme from Alumacraft and the next year they changed it for their entire line of boats. So your current boat is painted that way because of me. I've 90 Yamaha 4 stroke

Aaron Im just getting Into musky fishing, I have a 6foot6 gloomis musky jerk bait, heavy fast action, do you think the rod is to stiff for bucktails and bulldogs like I mean apposed to a nice moderate action where the fish can just enhale the bait, to you think it will make hook ups more like pull outs ? With the stiffer jerk bait set up? Ps buddy I flipn love your show
