Trier Old Town Festival
Since 1980, the Trier Old Town Festival has brought tens of thousands of people to the festival every year. Traditionally, it takes place on the last weekend in June. Only in 2022 was an exception made because of the major state exhibition "The Fall of the Roman Empire".
In the midst of the historic ambience of the old town, between Porta Nigra and Viehmarkt, between Domfreihof and Kornmarkt, live music is played on five large or various smaller stages, and beer, wine and food stands invite you to feast and toast. Trier natives, regional greats and nationally known bands will be playing again this year and offering songs for all age groups: from pop to rock, from rock'n'roll to funk and jazz, from salsa and blues to pop. All in all, a huge party.
The Old Town Festival is an event organized by the city of Trier in cooperation with Trier Tourismus und Marketing GmbH.
