Manchester is a fantastic city full of great restaurants and vibrant high streets. One of the most popular areas in Manchester, and indeed the whole of the UK is the Altrincham area, centring around the revitalised Altrincham market. Known as the home of many high profile Manchester United and Manchester City footballers and their families, it is more than just a playground for the rich and famous.
Altrincham and Hale are technically in Greater Manchester, but also sit on the border of Cheshire. This position puts it in easy reach of the amenities of a big city, whilst still being close to the wonderful Cheshire countryside.
The footage in this video has been captured using a GoPro Hero 9 Black and a DJI Mini 2 drone. The drone footage in particular provides a unique perspective of this wonderful part of England, including a stunning long distance view of the Manchester City skyline.

I love Yara on Oxford Rd. Sometimes the service can feel a little off.. but the food is always amazing!!

Great video Jason! 👏 We've thoroughly enjoyed being a small business in Altrincham for the past 5/6 years. We've always been shown great support by the resident and business communities, so it comes as no surprise Altrincham was voted best place to live in 2020 ☺️

I live there, and it's only nice in the town centre, it has a large working class pop

@@billymurray1687 have to disagree that it’s only nice in the town centre! Stamford park, John Leigh park, hale, timperley all lovely areas. Everywhere has its more expensive areas and lesser priced ones, but I think it’s a great place overall.

Hi Jason, could you please tell me where that area (looks like a golf course) is at the end of the video? Looks great for dog walking so I'd like to take mine there and let her off the lead for a run around.

That’s the Altrincham public golf course. It backs onto the playing fields at Delaheys Road and the Alty football club! 👍
