Turkish music has one more Brazilian fan here! Because of this band I started listening to Baris Manço, Derya Yildirim and Erkin Koray. Turkish people, please, don't stop making good music. Um grande abraço!

@mahmut mahmutoglu Gobekli is 12000 years old, meaning every human lived there has hundreds of millions of offspring living on earth now, if not billions. So yes in a way everyone is related more or less to those people. And about Turks, Anatolia has been one of the few lands continuously and densely populated through the history. You can find a great city for every period of time. So no, we do not have a little Ancient Anatolian heritage, we are mostly from ancient Anatolians. Where else we would be, Turkic roots are almost non existent genetically, even Germans have more Turkicness in them, because of Huns.
@michelangelos-pizzeria
4 жыл бұрын
@mahmut mahmutoglu but didn't the selcuks etc. came in the 11th century a.d. to Anatolia? So the older settlements were they not Greek?
@michelangelos-pizzeria
4 жыл бұрын
@mahmut mahmutoglu quite interesting and differentiated approach. The Trojans and the Minoans spoke Greek. Genetically there 4 major Hellenic tribes. Dorians, Aiolians, Ionians and another one. The first is what you consider of illyrian ancestry, but illyrian is not the right term. They come from the pelasgian branch and before of the hyperborean people. The Ionians settled in Anatolia 11-8 B.C. at West coast of Anatolia but also at the black Sea around Trabzon etc. Until today there are people speaking rumca in this region. They are genetically Ionians from the ancient town of iolkos over the temporary colony of Milet in Minor Asia. Also genetically related to populations in Sicily and apuglia. One genetical study from Sicily shows 37% Hellenic haplotypes of Sicilian people. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2985948/
