@@GamerKid64 some of Japan's mainland was occupied by the Soviet Union. Also, there is no possible way any country would nuke it's own territory unless there was a civil war. And no explanation was given as to why Japan nuked itself, thus making this nonsensical.

Mainland Japan's population in 2046 was of ~140,000,000, after the nukes were dropped, 134 Million japanese people died (every island except for Hokkaido) so, yes, they really did lose 176 million people, if you don't count the nukes the number would go down to 42 Million
