I honestly couldn't hear him very well. I wished he would've been louder like her. But they were cute together.

I've watched this duo in about 10 different videos now and I love this guys reaction when she sings every time, he is impressed with her voice and is very humble as hes got a pure voice as well.

At 2:35 he looks at her in amazement. At 2:45 he shakes his head and steps back from the microphone, his body language conceding. It's really quite cute to watch him. These are awkward years. He's really at a lost to be next to her, and then she starts sing. But he's the first to applaud her. He really admires her.

I have another theory based in my 12 year old son who loves to sing and perform. When he does a duet he doesn't know what to do when it is not his turn to sing. So he does some awkward things like Chris here. I noticed at the Peace Proms performance he was more in control and was more like a very confident young man. In that one they both looked at each other with smiles and it seemed like genuine friendship. Yes he could be infatuated with her. I mean just look at her or should I say listen to her? But it is likely a combination of him being awkward, being amazed by her voice, and a little infatuation. I think they are really friends now though. Also this is an all boys school. They had just let girls try out for their choir. Jess was one of the first. So perhaps for some of these boys it was the first time encountering a female their age. You know how teen boys are.

I haven't watched this in a while.Their performance is still so very well done!!! I actually called Ireland the first time I watched this video.Thank u again for this fine performance. Proud of u Jess and Christopher.

A night of choir practice innocently uncovers a beautiful moment.While the focus in the first instance is the young female vocalist,a huge amount of kudos goes to the male singer.
