The Comic Bon Bon designs get pretty weird. The variants from Wing are so over-the-top edgelord that Mazinkaiser asked them to tone it down.

There's always the Super Gundam from the Mk II and G-Defensor! Every other unit just kinda got a glorified FA or HW variation, which is a shame.

on the note for the Perfect Gundam VF-1S, FAST pack is just the addon parts for the valkyries, Super, Armor, Strike, etc, As for the difference between the Super and the Strike Valkyrie, Super is the one with two micromissile launcher + magazine where Strike is the one with a twin laser cannon replacing one of the micromissile launcher - magazine. There's also one appearance of a Dual Strike Valkyrie with two of those twin laser cannons replacing both micromissile launchers. So I do agree the perfect name for that model is the "Perfect Strike Gundam [UC]",

There are at least two father who build their son's robot before Voltes, however. Kaneda Kentaro, the creator of Tetsujin #28 and the father of its controller, Kaneda Shotaro. (So yeah, the trope is around since the dawn of robot anime.) Shiba Senjiro built Kotetsu Jeeg, as well as turning his son into cyborg to merge as Jeeg's Head. (1975) There's also Prof Saotome who built the Getter Robo, although his son perished while piloting the Proto Getter Robo and it's different guys who pilot the proper version. There're also Kabuto Juzo who build Mazinger Z , but he's grandfather to Kabuto Kouji. His son, Kabuto Kenzo, also built Great Mazinger but it's piloted by another guy.

U.C. FA Creator: The Pefect Gundam doesn't exist! We were fools! A.U. FA Creators: Perfect Gundam is freedom! Btw, putting production costs and balance issues aside, I think Full Armor machines in U.C. (or even others) should be given to less skilled pilots. They're not gonna be able to dodge anyway, so the vanilla GM's mobility is wasted. Might as well group them up and tank shots while showering the Zeons with heavy firepower.

The Perfect Strike and Super Perfect Gundam looks like something the EFF would make as extra armor for the G3 and the Super Perfect (twin missile pods) as an upgrade armor parts for the standard GM's.

I came into this video thinking it was about various AU Gundams being engineered to "Perfection," and then sent over to the Universal Century to participate in the One Year War replacing the RX-78-2. But in fact, the only AUs that could possibly work in such a Scenario would be After War, Anno Dominini, and Advanced Generation Era Gundams. One Year War Era Amuro doesn't have the physical conditioning to handle Future Century Mobile Fighters, the natural multitasking ability to handle Cosmic Era Gundams (wireless DRAGOONs use microwave or quantum particle entanglement to control via physical fingersticks, not neutral electrode harness) and would require surgical implants in order to handle Post Disaster or Ad Stella Gundams. Hey, maybe that would be something to speculate on in subsequent videos, after all.

IMHO, the Perfect GM is a great idea on paper. But we also have to consider that the Perfect and FA parts normally work best against solid shell weapons which made Johnny Ridden's accomplishments more impressive when he blew 3 up with a Zaku or so it was fabled. However, it's quite questionable how effective the FA parts are when you realize that 1. Gelgoogs happened and they had beams and 2. FA parts are heavy and hamper mobility in a gundam which has a slight performance oomph over the GM (at least that's what I understand. Feel free to shoot me down if that's not the case. ) That would potentially make GMs sitting ducks. BUT!! I would LOVE a FA or Perfect GM WITH Magnetic Coating which may help with overcoming reaction speed and overall performance. Soooo.... in the end, I want one that can jettison the armor and zoom around... Using a GM Sniper 2/GM Spartan frame. Hey, I can dream, can't I?

I've always wondered if the Perfect Gundam was originally supposed to be the final objective of the Gundam project, instead of what we got on Rx 78 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and Alex. I think this way since it is funny how the Rx 78 1 had the fore arm slots for the beam cannons (Even with the original full armor FA 78 1, it used the Rx 78 2 unit underneath, not the 1), smaller knee, backpack and shoulder armor. Along with the inexplicable use of a ton of hard points around the body of the Rx 78 1 and 2 specs (you could say the 3 too, but that depends if you go with the Katoki G3 or normal "anime" G3).

I always thought that every weapon and upgrade given to RX-78 Gundam was a test bed to be handed down to Jin to save time and cost so as not to worry about adding super expensive new technologies not working well to the Jin. Making the Jin the ultimate evolving MS thanks to the Gundam. But in doing so the Gundam was a victim of its own success and got so far ahead in the development. The Jin was the Little brother hopelessly trying to catch up to Big Brother Gundam. It would be cool to see a Nu-Jin Type.

Perfect GM looks like the Powered GM had its four cooling vents fused, had the shoulder and leg armor improved, and of course the back cannon.

Once the Perfect GM is mass produced...

the one he calls the wug at around the three minute mark, does anybody know the full designation of that unit? cause i remember i used to have that kit decades ago, but it got destroyed in a move and tracking down another/parts is a pain when i dont know what was written on the box anymore.
