I wanted to be honest hinata to be a semi antagonist by the end getting jealous and mad that she wasn't the one who took narutos heart that she wasn't the one who got his attention. I love how they made sakura and narutos relationships feel more developed then the half assed thing they made with hinata

Sakuras confession and apologizing to naruto is all I needed, it would develop the character and resolve the prior events and connection she had with naruto, unlike what happened in the Canon where narutos feelings was thrown out suddenly. I mean I wouldn't even mind if he ended up with hinata at this point lol.

You forgot the opening of this garbage fanfic was when Sakura confessed to Sasuke in front of Naruto. But I guess narusaku think Naruto is way too dumb to understand Sakuras feelings for Sasuke or have amnesia cause it's seems Noone in that fanfic has a clue what Sakura is always depressed about. Aren't they her friends yet no a single one offered any assistance? The writing flops too hard.

The quote part is true, but the movie and Kishimoto confirmed that Naruto's crush on Sakura was always shallow. Its more about Naruto growing up and being able to realise that and that he never truly liked Sakura romantically.

I don't particularly have a problem with NaruHina. What bothers Kishimoto's original work with respect to couples is that he has this idea that love for someone needs to be eternal, so Naruto in his entire life could never have liked Sakura at some point. Which doesn't make sense in relationships in real life. It's okay for you to like someone at a certain point in your life, and after a long time, you approach and fall in love with another. But no, for Kishimoto, for Naruto to be with Hinata, he needs to do a huge retcon, which for me was not necessary.

@moriel6890 sabban It doesn’t matter what Kishimoto was intending, what does matter is the execution and it’s still poorly handled. Kishimoto is not above criticism even from his fans. Not all creators are. NaruHina could have work if they give them enough screen time to develop more of their relationship instead of layout hints whether or not they’ll get together or worse, butchering Naruto’s character and established storyline for sake of the ship. This is why I’m getting sick of The Will They Won’t They shipping trope where it keeps on teasing fans until the last-minute mark. If all you care about is your ship is canon rather than HOW it was written, then you’re not fit to be a writer. If he wants to go for NaruHina, that’s fine but he got to make the execution work to make them believable. Use the screen time wisely and you’ll get well-written shipping. But the reason why NaruHina doesn’t work is he doesn’t bother to do much with that ship. The best example I can think of how to do a romantic sub plot right is Lumity (Luz x Amity) from The Owl House. The reason why Lumity works is because we see more of their chemistry, we see how their relationship works out, and just to let you know that those are the time when they’re actually DATING after Luz asked Amity out at the middle of the series.

@user-ju8bm1wy8b Complementing what firemaster said: The truth is that Kishimoto took advantage of it for a long time by giving tips on relationships between 4 characters (Naruto, Hinata, Sakura and Sasuke) to cause discussions among the fanbase and retain the public. The biggest proof, in my opinion, that shows this, is that for him, after the fight against Pain, he was most likely determined to do NaruHina. However, instead of giving more screen time and showing their relationship developing more during the war (which happens during some scenes), he inserts NaruSaku "tips" and "clues" so as not to kill this fanbase that moved a part of its readers before the end of the work, such as when Kushina tells Naruto to marry someone like her, and when Naruto introduces Sakura to Minato, he introduces her as his girlfriend (and soon after Minato still thinks how Sakura resembles Kushina). Do you understand my point? All to move a fanbase. If he was determined to make NaruHina official, why tease NaruSaku fans like that?

Incredible. I already like this more than the original movie. The music, animations, voices, etc are all great and despite this being fan-made it stays true to it's roots almost as if it's the original story. Nicely done man... Seriously! Keep up the good work.

The way you handled the hug scene was perfect. The sound of crickets and the fireflies surrounding naruto and sakura was amazing. It's by far my favorite scene.

@@ayhamahmad2277 I do agree with you the movie was mid at best but I feel like it makes more sense for Hinata to be his love interest not Sakura because of the simple fact that Sakura never loved Naruto back though the entire story she's more focused on Sasuke not Naruto I don't think there was ever any romantic tension between them I think they were just friends through the entire story I could be wrong it's been a long time since I watch Naruto.

Not a Naruhina shipper, but they would've made a good pairing and I like seeing what that might've looked like here. Naruto always brought out the best in Sakura's character and she'd better at calling him out on his nonsense than Hinata, lol.

You have no idea how long I've waited for a project like this. The way Naruto ended has always urked me. Thank you for correcting Kishimoto's easily fixable mistake. I've always wanted this moment where the constant tension these two had with each other could finally be put at ease. Having Sakura settle with a toxic psychopath in Sasuke wasn't the correct path to go and I firmly stand by that statement. She needs to be better to herself than that. All the love continously wasted on him only brought more pain. Naruto being with Hinata is ok, but ultimately unrealistic. They never spent much time together and by the time the series was over, it was way too late to fix that issue. No movie can ever fix that. The Naruto and Sakura friendship/relationship is the one given the most focus, most screentime, most interest, and most development. The fact that Kishimoto never capitalized on that proves to me he was just not ready to end this series. It proves to me that he was the worse of the big 3. It proves to me that he needed a break, but was pushed too hard and running on fumes. Writers fatigue setting in as all sense with the franchise slowly faded away. I despise the Last. I always have. But I don't think it's the source of all the problems that exist within the brand that extends to Boruto today. But it sure as hell is a symptom!

I'am Not fully into Pairing stuff but i agree Narusaku should have happend in Canon, the Canon Pairings are Toxic and Childish(Sasusaku) and Random and Unrealistic(Naruhina) this Mistake could be easily avoided by Kishimoto and of course Naruto is far away from being a Perfect Story.

Because so the show could be successful. NH and SS had alot more popularity and they could've got alot of money. Therefore, they went with NH and SS. Frankly, i'm ashamed that Kishi didn't step in. He focused on the NS development for 8 years and just ignored how well written and developed it was and went with what gave more money. I can understand that NH fans like NaruHina because its cute an it lookd a decent ship but they really need to take it aside and think if it has good writing and if it makes sense. No matter what you ship (NS, SS, NH) why can't we all just get along?

And don't say something hilarious like it was the last thing Naruto had to do before becoming Hokage, because it's too full of NaruHina moments to be anything like that, also let me break down those only two moments that Naruto and Hinata had together throughout the original and Shippuden one per each of course, Naruto said he like people like Hinata, he meant people who don't give up and don't back down, that also refers to Sakura, and during Hinata's confession to Naruto during the Pain Arc, people may praise her but I do not because even I know she did that out of selfishness, because she almost not only got herself killed but Naruto and the entire Leaf village, again if it wasn't for Minato that would have DEFINITELY happen, not to mention that confession took 2 years to reciprocate, though it feels longer being Naruto already looks like his Boruto self, because it makes no sense for someone to lose their hair that fast at the age of 19, but I digress, it just made Hinata look more pathetic I'm sorry to even say, because let's be serious what a girl even wait that long for their feelings to be reciprocated? I really don't think so, love maybe patient but not that patient, I hate how they had Hinata use Naruto as a crutch to escape her family problems, if she just got over him I know she would have been a great and strong leader of the Hyuga clan, with her being on par with Itachi and Shisui, that's a future I saw in her even after her defeat by Neji's hands, Naruto only had three possible outcomes because of his never give up never back down attitude besides becoming Hokage of course, either ending up with Sakura (NaruSaku), end up with Sasuke (NaruSasu) or stay single and train the next generation of genin, though I would have loved for him to do that either way, him ending up with Hinata the way he did goes against everything that made Naruto who he is, and as for Sakura, I hate to blame my boy but it was definitely Naruto's fault that he fan the flames of Sakura's crush on Sasuke, I don't know if Sakura will ever realize that it was Naruto pretending to be Sasuke she fell in love with, instead of it being the real Sasuke, because that was the whole point of her character development, from being a school girl crushing on Mr. popular to being a strong Kunoichi who finally ends up with the right man AKA Naruto, also let me tell you one more thing, NaruHina was just used for a plot device to continue the story of the Otsutsuki, nothing more to continue the story to Boruto and ignoring the prophecy of Jiraiya, making it look like that Naruto would be the student that brings ruin to the world, (so if I would Hazard a guess, I think Minato was the child of prophecy and the decision was to tell him the prophecy the old Kronos story, trying to prevent something you know is going to happen will make sure it happens) because if Naruto did end up with Sakura then there would be no need to continue the story and no need for Boruto.

The way how misogyny is so fucking deep within this shitty Fandom. Sakura's backstory showed she had feelings for Sasuke when she was 7, she broke off her friendship with Ino over the fact that Ino hid her feelings from her and use Sasuke as motivation to escape Ino's shadow. This shitty fanfic disregards all that and shoves Sakura into Ino puppet like Ino has self-declaration over what Sakura is suppose to feel. Anyways back on your beef with Naruhina , Sakura wasn't even against Naruhina. Sakura never loved Naruto and it was clear in the bench scene she wanted Sasuke's approval and affection. Sakura is a fighter and shows she's willing to go through any hurdles to get where she is currently. Unfortunately crappy sexist ns fans hate all that and want her to feel ashamed for disrespecting their golden boy with the years of abuse and mistreatment. Yet through all that she made sure that Naruto understood and respected her feelings for Sasuke .

Sakura only punched him like twice (canonly) Sakura did indeed insult him for being an orphan but don't go acting all cocky, pretending you haven't done stupid things like that in your childhood. And Sakura and Ino's backstory? Got nothing to do with the subject. If it was boring then why did you waste your time watching two 12 year old girls fighting for an emo? And also, can I just say that NH and SS are nowhere near realistic. Naruto married a girl who HE barely knew and fell in love with within an hour- Sakura married Sasuke, a guy who tried to kill her, deceive her, hurt her feelings and so forth, cause he felt like he needed to remove all bonds. Realistically she would've gotten over him, but no. LeTs gO oN a TrIp and HaVe a DaUghtEr.

Her friendship with Ino is very important to her character because Ino helped her gain confidence and self-respect , the writer of this shit fanfic disregard all the independence Sakura had gained from her association and basically turned it into "oh this is how you should feel because you don't understand anything". Well you don't know who Ino was, it was best to give a little information. Sakura punched Naruto more than two times in Canon. Rejected hik multiple times and confessed her love to Sasuke infront of Naruto.The salty writer included her chp 693 confession and then use it to shame her for it cause it's not for their Naruto.

​@manovrsb Think about it- Did Sakura ever have a reason to like Sasuke? Did he save her from bullies at the academy? No Did he protect her at the academy? No Did she know him well and grew feelings for him at the academy? No So, that basically tells us that Sakura liked Sasuke for not who he was, but more so because he was cool and had good looks. And that's the same reason why ALL the other sasuke simps (Including Ino) liked him. So Sakura's love for him was no different than anyone else's. And this is coming from an all time Sakura fan. And I mean sure, if she didn't like him intensely then why would she chase him even AFTER he was a criminal? Simple, because the Naruto writers simply don't know the meaning of the words 'Realistic Woman' And Sakura here, is the closest female to being realistic in the entire naruto verse. The canon episodes of their development told us that Naruto did like her for who she was The words "I finally understand what I love about Sakura-chan" never meant anything to you? Like, it told us ALOT about there one sided relationship I even recall Naruto saying in the manga that Sakura was his heroine I'm not kidding. And now your thinking, what about Sakura then? Now, now. I wouldn't be into the pairing if it didn't seem like Sakura liked him too. Remember the scene were Sakura hugged Sasuke after an encounter with Itachi? Naruto made a gloomy face after seeing it. Because that's when he believed that Sakura truly loved Sasuke Which of course due to the studio perriot writing seemed like a second take. But remember after Sakura healed Hinata after protecting him from Pain? Sakura made that SAME gloomy face that Naruto did when he believed that Sakura liked Sasuke That doesn't tell you a bunch? This must be the moment we're Sakura realises, that she likes him too. Its not an obvious parallel Even I couldn't notice that but those two stares told us everything. And that's all the proof I need that Naruto and Sakura are not platonic. This doujin doesn't disregard anything. You say she likes him because he's cool and good looking but ignores the amount of times Sasuke has shown his imperfect side towards Sakura and Sakura's feelings for him grew deeper. You mean the studio and the editor just read the manga Naruto has more screen time with sakura and moments than hinata hinata barely exists in the manga the only reason she ended with Naruto because she was popular character because of fillers the studio hate sakura they cut a lot of her dielog and moments in the manga she was supposed to end with Naruto but they forced him to change it remember the mangaga doesn't have freedom

Since he sold his work to SJ Naruto is now just a simple commercial product put there to sell and earn profit and since the SS is currently the most popular hetero ship both at home and abroad, the SP tries to make as much profit as possible from their fans in order to be able to continue the sequel to Boruto. How sad..

@@Bartielord you're right but currently Sasuke and Sakura are the most popular characters within the Naruto fandom and the Uchiha family is the most loved. Even now you can see how popular Sakura is from the popularity poll and since for SP popularity means financial success they take advantage of it to make more and more profit. Sakura was initially hated by the fandom because it hindered the main pairing i.e. the NH but now that the ship is canonical her hatred has significantly reduced. SS is a ship famous only for Sakura's persistent love towards Sasuke (an obsessive love that I personally don't approve of but ok) while Sasuke is the most popular male character in the fandom so, putting things together, SS will be the goose that lays the eggs gold for SP and SJ, regardless of how the pair is developed

Look, I don't hate Sasusaku or Naruhina, but I have to say that Narusaku relationship much much makes sense and has a better build up than, you know, Hinata. Narusaku have been together for soo long, doing everything together. Them being together just make sense, i couldn't explain it better, it juat does after watching all 500 episode of NS

without the vulgar fanservice, this would have been one of the real situations of the manga/anime. Shippuden is full of obvious clues that NaruSaku was Kishimoto's original idea, but apparently, the authors prefer to listen to the complaints of capricious fans rather than carry out their original idea.

How was Narusaku obvious when in the war arc its clear that Sakura loves Sasuke. It's implied over and over again who Sakura has feelings for. Don't make up wierd suggestions that fans bullied kishimoto when his works has shown to be supportive of Sakura's feelings towards Sasuke.

@@manovrsb listen, I'm not saying that sakura stopped loving sasuke during the series or something. they ended up together, so that's the canon of the play. but to say that NaruSaku wasn't at least a valid option in Kishimoto's mind is utopia. sakura blushes in the first episode of shippuden while looking at naruto (a sign that she found him changed for the better and also attractive, then ok, naruto is an idiot and ruined the whole moment), during the arc of Gaara's recovery, she often looked at him with sad and thoughtful eyes, something he had practically never done in the past, on the Tenchi bridge, his tears in seeing him completely possessed by the demon Kyuubi, and above all, Yamato's interrupted sentence (actually, you lo...) when naruto couldn't eat due to the damage from the Rasen Shuriken, sakura approaches to feed him and the camera focuses on the stools approaching (a classic ploy in romantic scenes), or when sakura understands that Hinata loves naruto, she has a disconsolate expression. furthermore, Kishimoto declared in an interview that his wife was angry with him for not having made Naruto and Sakura a couple (evidently, the author, in his family sphere, had expressed to his wife the desire for the children to end up together his two characters, only to then change his mind, resulting in his wife's bad mood). I, personally, am sure that Kishi intended for Naruto to conquer all his goals: to make friends, to be accepted by Konoha, to become a great ninja, to become Hokage and to conquer the heart of the woman he loved (and in my opinion she would have been the right choice was to make him end up together with that woman who initially thought he was stupid, and then began to admire him until she fell in love with him, understanding how much he had always remained close to her), but evidently, NaruHina received more fans than NaruSaku, and that's how it went

@marko87ish the fact that Naruto never had a chance with Sakura meant Narusaku was never valid in anyway. Sakura and Naruto reunion in shippuden had Sakura asking for compliments on her MATURITY and ofcourse Naruto couldn't understand and gave a generic statement. You're confusing Sakura's care for Naruto as romance when Sakura worries for his extreme ideology when it comes to rescuing Sasuke. She doesn't want Naruto to hurt himself or burden himself too much over the issues cause it's shared between ALL TEAMMATES. Evidently she does reunite with Sasuke in the next couple chapters and obviously you can see the look on her face when she sees her beloved. The series had many times to investage your case for Narusaku but Kishimoto shut it down in the fake confession . Something FORCED by Sai to tell Sakura that she was playing with Narutos feelings tricking him to love her when she herself DOESNT LOVE HIM and would choose Sasuke moments after his redemption. Naruto exposes the fact that he knew Sakura never loved him and only loved Sasuke . But I guess you stopped listening to his comments or ignored him all together. Makes me wonder are you for NARUTO or NARUSAKU ? What even is NARUSAKU when Naruto says Sakura loves Sasuke too much to.even think of harming him and Sakura thinking of Sasuke as the only one she loves in the war arc. Moving to Hinata , if Sakura felt discouraged by Hinatas feelings for Naruto then why didn't she feel the same way when she found out Ino loved Sasuke ? Instead she used that as an excuse to break away from Ino shadow and show her that she can advance on her own. You cut out Sakura's backstory and project this WORTHLESS VIEW OF A WOMAN WHO DONT KNOW THE MEANING OF STRUGGLE. Your personal view is the reason there is so much MISOGYNY in the Naruto Fandom. Sakura doesn't OWE Naruto anything , she is NOT HIS TROPHY , She had her own trials and feelings and decision to who she gave her feelings to. Obviously that was Sasuke and Sakura made it clear enough.
