@blueblur5995 indeed. I have always thought the same, just what if things went differently. I personally prefer the Kaiserreich scenario. As a strong German Nationalist, I prefer the Kaiserreich to the failed experiment of Nazi Germany or the failure of today's Germany

The concept is never boring but the execution here was rather bland. 1. The great wars were not all that large. 2. Most events contained very little detail as to justify why things went differently. (the French commune in particular) 3. There was no clear push back from the other powers to this greater Germany even though said powers were trying to maintain a balance of power. side-note. why didn't you explain as to what happened with the Swiss?

You know what, I agree with you here. Honestly, I am not that good at all of this as I wish I was. As for the question about the Swiss, it is one of the many easter eggs in this video that reference real historic events. In this case Greece during WW1. As you may have noticed, Italian troops occupied Ticcino as an escape territory and the Swiss just drove them out. You later see that the color on the swiss-occupied areas switches to grey. This meant that it was in fact the German army. The Swiss in this TL was pressured to formally join the war and act as a hub for the Army to break the stalemate at the Alsace Front.

The Eagle on the Flag better known as the Bundeswappen was made in 1926 by Karl-Tobias Schwab and was from 1928 to 1933 the Coat of arms of the Weimarer Republik and since 1950 in the Bundesrepublik Deutschland.

hey, if you ever plan on remaking this video or if you ever feel like doing so, i do have suggestions: on the matter of the line of succession in 1888, Wilhelm II had not ascended to the throne in this video because in most scenarios, he was a major factor that led to WW1e. so, in order to avoid a case like this while continuing the direct line of succession from Friedrich III, you could have a Year of the Four Emperors/Kaisers, which i shall explain how it goes; so, in the scenario, lets say that while on a carriage ride in September 1888, a roof tile falls on Wilhelm II, which ends up killing him, and his now six year old son, Crown Prince Wilhelm, becomes Kaiser Wilhelm III, with his uncle and Wilhelm II's younger brother, Prince Henry of Prussia, being made his regent until he is of age. Bismarck (if he is still Chancellor in TTL) would also remain as Chancellor until his death in 1898 as well. Prince Henry was known to align more with the views of his father, Friedrich III, meaning that he could educate Wilhelm III to follow in his footsteps. this would work better for the timeline of the video, as the German throne would be in the direct line of succession, but would nonetheless be able to have Wilhelm III not be like his father and would therefore not lead to WW1 from OTL, but rather WW1 in this original video's plot. additionally, as said in my former comment, i would also recommend have Germany be known as the German Empire in 1848, as that was the intended outcome of the Revolutions of 1848 as far as im aware. i would also recommend not having Germany abolish its monarchy in the 1940s, as the monarchy would be well embedded by that point in my personal opinion, and it would feel rather not the most realistic (none of this is meant to be an insult towards your plot, its just constructive criticism) in this case, so i would instead recommend having the layout displaying the info of the German Empire along with the year being more similar to how it is in this video "Alternate History of Germany | 1884 - 2022 (Reupload)" by GTR Mapping, and later in the 1940s or so, you could replace the coat of arms next to the Kaiser's portrait, with the portrait of the Chancellor being displayed as well, although it is hard to word it and explain it myself, as im not the best at wording things like this.

It is, as the map stated. Austria assumes the role of a “Freistaat“ or Free State. As for the Habsburg Dynasty: They have symbolic titles but do not hold any real power. They do however still own all their former castles and could theoretically veto. The government just doesn't have to listen...

Not gonna lie great scenario. Did not expect neither hydriech or himmler to get in charge with them being major fascist generals in our timeline. Also very nice music.
