yes a deck with the goal of omni negates and hand rip should definetly get more support! Very good design and fun / interactive gameplay, we want more of this!!!!!!!

Btw, there’s something like Maximum hand size.. I’ve noticed this a couple times already but people have to discard at the ep if they have so many cards in hand.. this comes up quite often when playing chimera

Yes ,I believe it's something like 7 cards. You have to discard them at the end of YOUR turn,one of the reasons maxxc is so broken

altergeist player does the full combo so badly. you usually end with hexstia pointing at adminia + 1 protocol 1 manifestation/2 manifestation

@@XrosBreaker few ways to end on it, here is one: starting hand: marionetter multifaker summon mario, set haunted rock activate haunted rock discard faker use mario eff send haunted rock summon multifaker from grave multifaker summons meluseek from deck use mario+seek to make hexstia seek searches malwisp, malwisp summons itself, summons meluseek again make primebanshee with seek and hextia hextia eff search protocol/manifestation use primebanshee eff, tribute faker and summon pookuery use malwisp and pookuery to make hexstia below primebanshee use pook eff to add back to hand to the right of hexstia, link summon adminia using primebanshee and pook in your hand chain 1 prime, chain 2 adminia, set protocol/manifestation and add multifaker back to your hand you now have a 4500 atk hexstia that can negate a spell/trap, an adminia that can steal enemy monster permanently as quick effect, multifaker in hand, 2 extremely powerful altergeist traps, and also a hexstia in your GY as a manifestation target you can make more or less the same board with any of these two monsters; marionetter pookuery marionetter meluseek pookuery meluseek marionetter multifaker( as shown above)

​@@XrosBreakerhe is right, the player in this video does his combos very badly, almost all combos in the deck let you end on that board If you need a few examples Best one: seek+pook Ns seek, link it and pook for hex, chain block add pook then add wisp, wisp summon seek, make primebanshee with either one, hextia add either protocol or manifest (depends on your hand which to grab first), hextia tribute the other monster ss faker, faker summon marionetter, marionetter sack itself summon hexita, link banshee and faker for admin next to hextia (DO NOT SUMMON IT IN THE EMZ UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE PLAYING AGAINST, you want hextias negate to be live at the start of the ops turn to play around cosmic), banshee add back faker and set the trap you didnt add, that's the board Marrio + faker Ns Marrio get haunted rock Activate it by discarding faker, marrio send the rock to summon faker, faker eff summon seek, link marrio and faker for hextia, then link seek and hextia for banshee (play around droll by searching twice in the same chain), add marrio and wisp, wisp summon then eff summon faker (you can here either make the synchro to have extra negates on the ops turn or be safe and do the same board from before), tribute one of them to summon peritraitor from the deck, link peritraitor and other monster for hextia, peritraitor send revitalize, banish revitalize to summon marrio and set protocol/manifest, link marrio and banshee for admin next to hextia, add back faker set the other trap, same board as before without pook in hand Hope that helps

Is it just me or anyone else things the geist player made some pretty weird decisions that ultimately cost him at least the third match?

I was grinding yesterday and was like 6-0 until some giest player came and gave me the quickest 0-2 I’ve ever experienced lmao no joke

Anyone know why they removed the clause where the fusions are treated as Phantom Beasts in the GY and on the field in the TCG?

Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast has this Archetype condition "(This card is always treated as a "Phantom Beast" card.)" so by copying the name on field and in GY you are also copying this condition.

@@TrueScotsman96 but if you look at the cards that copy Summoned Skull's name, they say (but this is still treated as an "Archfiend" card). Maybe they just forgot about Phantom Beasts.

@@fukou_da It is because those Summoned Skull monsters are Always treated as an Archfiend card. The Chimera fusions are not always treated as Phantom Beast cards. They are only treated as Phantom Beasts on field or in the GY.

You don’t ever need 3 chimera fusion in the deck. Going plus 2 is great with berfomet but drawing it is horrible. I would honestly play it at one, but I play two because of the popularity of evenly. Adding a level 4 with berfomet is already good enough you don’t need to add a fusion spell that recurs every turn

I agree with 3 being too many but I think 1 isn't enough. You can easily search a 2nd one on your opponents turn since you typically don't have to use the mirror knight you summon back.

u say berformet funny. i like it

the game 2 in match 3 is why i just dropped all aspirations of playing geist, there's so many nonbos and bad cards in the deck and marionetter pass is not real

Mid list, mid pilot. Game 1 was unfortunate, but there's no reason for a card like Skill Drain to be in a post DUNE Geist main deck. Game 2 he won so that's nice Game 3, after he establishes that Adminia-Melu-set cards board going 2nd, bringing back Hexstia instead of Banshee is correct. Not only does it not lose to Bystials, it also hits the Illusion deck at its choke point, which are the fusion spells. Hexstia negates Chimera Fusion by tributing Melu, Melu adds a Faker that can be Summoned right then and there along with Silq (as was done in the vid). This enables Hexstia's negate again for a potential Poly in hand. Fenrir is dead here since there are monsters on board, and with the rest of the disruptions available, the match should be easily winnable.

​@@ginjusmingocard is win more, if you don't get to protocol card completely shuts your own deck down, if you get to combo and you're not an idiot it's an ftk almost every time and don't need it to win the game, like literally the only hands where it's "good" is when you open only marionetter or have to just set cards and you also opened protocol, there are way better cards you could be playing at that point

Thank you. It bothers me to no end seeing skill drain in so many geist lists. It's a cheeky play at best and self sabotage more often than not.

If you use pookuery as link material you can’t add it back to hand. It has to already be in the grave when you link summon

"When performing a Link Summon, monsters are first sent to the Graveyard as Link Materials, then the Link Monster is Special Summoned from the Extra Deck. When the Link Summon is successful, Altergeist Pookuery is already in your Graveyard, so its effect that adds it to your hand can be activated."

As a Geist player this is wrong, you can add it back when used as link material
