I made specimen cards the other day. Wish I had seen this video before I had made mine. Yours are beautiful!

The specimen cards are my favorite. What a lovely idea - sharing the bride’s flowers!

I use a metal roasting pan from Dollar Tree when I spray anything. No wet cardboard, and really easy to gather up the "droppings." I expect it will last indefinitely.

How have the flowers held up sealed in the acetate?? My Mom got some flowers sent to her from some family for her BD back in April ...from 1-800-flowers, they were in a box... flowers wrapped in decorated thin acetate, with a BIG Thicker pc around that! It was TOOO GOOD to pass up! My thought was shaker cards for kids. But his gives me other ideas. When your on a STRUGGLING budget & tryin to dig up things that can B Used AS supplies....U look at & scrutinize EVERYTHING for possibilities. Lol 😅

Best video EVER! Just wow! And what a wonderful thing to do with the flowers! I’ll mention that to my future daughter in law ( Alabama) born n raised she will adore that idea! I just asked hubby to check on the ball jars I’ll look through the fabric snips from the girls dresses I made for tops !! Oh dear promised big to be chatty !! These turned our absolutely stunning ! For those with no resources to fresh flowers, try dollar tree in states for bunches of dried flowers also any of the craft big box stores. A bunch goes a long way. I dry my flowers by the stems in my pantry with elastic then paper clips to the wire shelves.

I love these. You can also use them for cards or book marks.

PErfect for a floral journal I am working on at the moment. I will have to collect some flowers to dry. I did print some dragonflys on printable acetate that I can use, also.

That’s the name of the Tim Holtz distress ink. Walnut Stain. It’s water and ink. 🙂

Great ideas!! I have a question...Do the fresh flower bits get moldy in between the clear panels? I've pressed a lot of flowers and always had to be careful with what I used to press them because certain things that retained the moisture in the petals made them get moldy.

I haven't had an issue with that yet. The baby's breath was already dry along with the lavender. The sunflower petals weren't and there are a little brown on the edges, but no mold. I sealed it up as tight as possible so maybe I got most of the air out. Thanks for watching!

It’s Walnut Stain ink from Tim Holtz. Not actual but renderings. That’s just the name he gave a brown ink he produces. I added some ink from my refill bottle to my spray bottle and then added rubbing alcohol.
