This song is a criminally underrated, one of the best AB songs.

I've bought and listened to all 5 of their albums in the last 13 years... this is STILL the best song they've ever made. LONG LIVE SHED MY SKIN!!!

Drives me nuts that they never play this song live anymore, I'd love to experience it just once. Fave AB song.

Shed My Skin. Rise Today. Breathe Again. All Ends Well. I'm noticing a pattern here. Each album has at least one song which is a showcase of Myles' absolute mastery over all things vocal.

Rise Today? wut dude, there is Blackbird(specially the live performances where he does higher notes than in the studio) and some other songs that are harder to perfom, imo.

Guilherme Nunes Well obviously. Everything Myles sings shows off his epic prowess as a singer. It's just that Rise Today is probably the more vocals-oriented song on the Blackbird album. Blackbird itself is oriented heavily around the combination of Mark and Myles' guitar playing, which is what makes it so great.

KTK Yeah. The whole ODR album was. Probably why it remains my favourite album of theirs. Mark's songwriting is one thing he has over Myles in the talent department.

He was playing octaves went from about 5th fret then he jumped up to octaves at 13-14 came back down

@Spenser Latson you dont know who I am. I am a huge alter bridge fan. Each song is perfection to me. And i read a lot of things about myles and drugs. I thijnk that on this tour, he was not like on the blackbird's one or on the AB III's one. He was kind of strange. I know that he has stopped drugs but......

give him a break, he has been on the road non stop for almost 3 years, AB3 tour, Slash Tour, human vocal chords can only take so much, just like creed 2009 tour, he had a tumor in his throat so giv evry1 a break

This had to be from when they toured for one day remains I say that cause Brian marshals hair is long in this video and its been cut short for a long time now flips hair is now long and is short in this video.

Its not bad, if that is his natural range and voice that you are talking about, then his core voice has changed a little bit, and imho, to his detriment. HOWEVER, I will reserve my judgment for when they finish the new AB album. If he sounds anything like he does on the slash album, I will no longer a fan of his, if he sounds like he did on ab3, I will be pleased and will buy the album

I hope your right and that my gut is wrong. 2011 is when I felt his voice was taking a decline. I felt as if his singing was taking a decline on their last live dvd recording show. He was singing nasally and pitchy, like he does with slash
