Alter Bridge - Broken Wings Live - Mark Tremonti on Vocals

Музыка

@ Express Live in Columbus, OH on 9.27.19
Due to Myles being under the weather for 3 or 4 shows. Mark offered his vocal services for songs that Myles Kennedy sung on.

I don't know of any male vocalist with the range of Myles Kennedy, but Mark does a hell of a job. I love the way Myles encouraged Mark to sing more and Mark encouraged Myles to play guitar more. Talent without big ego equals Alter Bridge.

actually, myles kennedy is not a singer but a guitarrist who knows how to sing (himself said that) in the first presentations, back in 2004, myles felt very uncomfortable by not be holding a guitar. I agree with u, but I don't think that mark encouraged myles to playing guitar.

I also like that Mark encouraged Myles to play guitar more, keeps him from singing. There are tons of singers better then Myles. I don't understand the fascination with this guy. He is just a cover singer. Mark should just to his own thing, he doesn't need Myles, unfortunately he doesn't need Scott either. The thing about Mark is that he never cared about being famous. He just wanted to write and play music. It was Scott's influence that made the band famous, and also what destroyed in the end. Mark is just better on his own. And Myles can go back to doing Guns & Roses cover bands

@@whodat1721 I’m not sure how anyone can call Myles a cover singer considering the fact that he wrote and/or co-wrote every song for Citizen Swing, Mayfield Four and Alter Bridge. If you’re referring to the acoustic set he did with Slash in Australia, then you really don’t know Myles Kennedy.

The first time I saw Alter Bridge, I had just lost my grandfather and during this song I couldn’t stop crying, Myles squeezed my hand and after the show gave me a huge hug and listened to stories about my grandpa. Mark joined in and I was able to tell him how I played everything for my grandpa and he as a blues guitarist was impressed with Mark’s playing over the years. I was at the Columbus OH show when Mark sang Broken Wings and again, I cried, at times their music is my absolute lifeline!

I sing and play guitar as well, and I literally can't hear my thoughts in front of the 2x12 cabinet on half power. Now, imagine Mark's live rig. Double full-stack 4x12 with two 100w tube heads cranked up. That thing is probably even louder than the rocket engine on launching! But, in order to move people, you have to move air, I guess. Although, his rig can probably move a three-story house to the next neighborhood, haha!

It's difficult to compare Myles and Mark. I think in general Myles is the better singer, but damnit.... Mark has a great voice and sounds incredible while singing this song!

yeah Mark could pretty much take over the show for both bands, his and AB, and it wouldnt even sound too out of place musically. Sure he had to go down a step or so with the vocals, but bring in Eric Friedman and youve covered all the bases.

Because majority of the fans at this show were Skillet fans. They either probably don't know any of their music or just a couple of songs. They were alive when Skillet was on stage.

Skillet was horrid when I saw them. It was just a wall of noise. Every song. Crazy. Some people just can't appreciate great musicianship and songs.

Many of today's shite Bubblegum pop bands, even with all their rediculous over processed voices and autotune would have cancelled the show due to sickness lol .... NOT ALTER BRIGDE ...LOVE THIS BAND SO MUCH!! Long live Rock! and.. Myles is a vocal force to be reconed with...Well done man!! Much respect for you!!

Mark sounds on thise song better than Myles, for my opinion. Because he hase the deeper voice, and this song is more "darker" sound. Matches better with Marks voice than with Myles !

Lol I somehow doubt that Mark and Myles are really close, and Myles has been as much a part of the writing process as mark is since blackbird. He's indispensable. You probably already know that but hey
