I love that KZread fed me this oldie but goodie. 😊 I have built an altar of sorts around my piano, and I don't think I've heard of anyone else doing this (or speaking of it, at least). Thank you for your encouragement to create our own version of sacred space, however that might show up for us each individually. 🙏💖

This resonated with me so much! I am in the process of moving, so my alter is mostly packed away but I too take bits of sand and rock from my travels for myself. It's my favorite kind of souvenir! I am an old Hollywood fan so my alter has a chunk of slate from Rudolph Valentino's house and a chunk of the Ennis house while both were in the middle of renovation. I have always felt a connection to that time and place so these are cherished possessions. I'm in the midst of reparenting myself from a childhood of turmoil. The idea of an inner child alter never crossed my mind, I LOVE that idea. Thank you so much for sharing!

I'm working on my personal altar in my bedroom but you've inspired me to open up other areas in my home (mantle, bathroom shelf, dining table, guest room/office, children's rooms) to create specific little altars that my family can benefit from and enjoy. Very inspiring and creative! Thank you for sharing :) Ps- I live in a small two bedroom house now but I still miss the days of living in my cramped but very cozy bachelor apartment where everything but the bathtub was in one room. There is something very special about living in close and comfortable quarters...even if it doesn't always feel like it at the time. Have a great and Happy Samhain xo
