What a legacy she left you in Alt J. Listen to all their music again and again. It only gets better. Incredibly emotive songs. I hope you find some peace in their music. My heart goes out to you.
I've listened to Alt-J for dozens of hours but have never seen what they look like and they look exactly like I imagined.

Watch some of their interviews! They are very pleasant people, especially Gus. You can tell they have a real passion for their craft. They take it serious without taking themselves serious.

@@BonJoviBeatlesLedZep when I saw him live he didn’t have a hat on and he wore a baggy black t shirt. Try picturing him like that, he looked like every front man for a hard rock cover band lol! I was expecting a tall skinny guy with a more “hipster” style beard and stache

The lead singer didn’t used to be that big, he’s gained some weight over the last couple years. He looked a lot different in their early days.
Seeing them a few years back was one of the best shows I'd ever been to! Can't believe this album is a decade old!

That vocal round at the end leading to the harmony and then the outro gets me every time. Just brilliant.
They're unique in the very best way. I remember hearing this album for the first time and knew immediately the world got another iconic band. If you haven't already checked out their new album, do yourself a favor listen to it.

Spent the day listening to Alt-J!! Their new album is fantastic, An Awesome Wave was so so meaningful to me, I can't explain how much joy their rhythms, vocals, harmonies, lyrics, their everything, brings me when I hear their music 💓
So nice to a band that sounds just like the studio recordings. Very rare these days.

Life is Strange introduced me to them, amazing band.
I remember the years between 2013 and 2017 where my friends and I would get busy discovering new music. I have no clue how I stumbled upon Alt-J, but since then they’ve always been on my iTunes. Seeing the title Alt-J Breezeblocks on a video posted Today majorly threw me off because of how long this song has actually been around. I guess I’m trying to say I’m loving this nostalgia!

This was the song that started playing every time I connected my phone to the car bt, I’ve heard it so many times without consent. But still, here I am enjoying the first live performance I’ve seen of this song after so many year’s, it’s kinda beautiful tbh

Saw them around 2015 or so in Manhattan and they had this kid on drums with a metal background - double kick drum and all! He was really nice, hung out backstage after the show while other band members "excused" themselves. Performance was stellar though!
