I’m an atheist, but I still appreciate Christian rock bands like this. To me this is simply a bitter sweet love song, even if that isn’t the intention, but I like that music like this can be interpreted differently for everyone and that bands like this are inclusive in their lyrics when they don’t need to be

This song is so true to what I've been going through... I want to get back to God and I've made a mess of all my relationships.. God's helping me put them back together though

I agree. It doesn't matter what your beliefs are, listen to what you like. And, I think it's still a pretty touching and heartwarming song.

Been looking for this for a while now.

I am a big fan of christian bands although I'm an (agnostic) atheist; I just feel like that their songs are full of passion and strong emotions and even though my interpretation of their songs' meanings differs from their intention/from what others who do believe in god think about, I respect your viewpoint. Whether this is a love song or a song about faith to you: We all can agree that it is about some kind of deep devotion, right? So, no need to fight over it. :-)

I love this song! I'm writing a book triology (it will not be published, I'm just practicing for when I do try to get the triology published) and this song is on one of the soundtracks. :)

i'm an athiest but i still love this song. the lyrics actualy make me think of how i feel towards my girlfriend, not towards god (not saying there is one, nor am i saying there isnt. everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and i respect that enough. sometimes i wish that most religions would do the same as it would stop so many fights altogether)

Guys, please Stop! I do believe in God, but I hate when people speaks about God in the comment section of a freakin' music video. It's okay, i understand you. because you believe in God, and you "know" that, this song's about God and everyhing, but... Enugh! No one wants to see this. Anyway! God is teaching us about love, and peace, right? Stop rowing about it. 7.5 billion human lives on the Earth. This song would mean something else, for everyone. Christian bands write songs with their belief, but I guess they want people, as you say, to interpret them the way they want to... I'm not christian, but my favorite bands are christian

I don't believe in a higher power but I do believe in respecting other's opinions so stop crying about what other people think, it's incredibly immature and shows a lack of discipline. Keep it to yourself and enjoy the music please.

I'd fall on my knees for someone I love, I'd desperately call out their name, yes. I believe that all of you are right. While I do see the religious meaning to it, as someone who does not believe in God I (personally) see it more as a love song.

I love this song, but I wish the religious fights would stop. I'm very Christian but if you don't believe that's fine. I'd only disrespect someone's opinion if they were a satanist.

just stop talking about god. some people believe in him,and others don't. just accept that.

If you don't believe in God, why don't you just keep it to yourself and not disrespect him and the people who actually do and appreciate him. You are entitled to your own views just as the people who made this video. So just as you might not want to see it, there are plenty of people who do. If you don't like it, don't watch it. FoxyBabushka - Autonyms I agree with you on this one, I see it the same way. But still, it's a Christian band so a lot of Christians respond to it. Everybody listens to music in a different way. It's all a matter of interpretation. No need to be rude tho.

FoxyBabushka - Autonyms Just because you dont believe that God exists does not mean that he doesnt exist. You can believe that jail doesnt exist but that doesnt mean you can disrespect the laws of America or wherever you may live. You can choose to not believe that God exists if you so choose but that does not change the truth of the matter. Aside from that saying this song is about a girl makes less sense than saying it is about God. This is a Christian song by a Christian band so it is highly likely that it is about God.

Kcaz2853 Never thought i would be coming back to this 6 months later..... No one seems to get it, believe what you want to and keep it to yourself. Its annoying reading the same crap about how god exists and has changed people lives...fine, thats okay, if believing that brings you happiness then go for it. I would happily keep my athiesm to myself but it seems like non of us come out and tell you guys to shush.

I would simply like to say that it is most likely that this song is about God based on the artist. You may view it differently if you so please but i just wanted to say that it is not clearly about a woman as you said. Now that i listen to more songs on KZread and see how much everyone makes every song by a Christian artist about how its about God or not I see how annoying it is. I dont agree with keeping your beliefs to yourself but there are definitely places where it is not needed. On KZread the problem is that people seem to do it just to argue and there is no point to it. There are much better places and ways to share your beliefs. Yours was the first I saw of the sort yesterday so I got a bit defensive because i personally love the song. But then I saw so many more comments of the sort on so many other songs and saw how annoying it really is. I understand why you are so annoyed. People should probably chill over KZread. Sorry if its a long comment.

Don't call them Christian.Christian philosophy , turn the other cheek, doesn't realy follow with 'I get wicked'.Also , just because a band is ''Christian'' it does not mean that every song they've writen is about God.

True. They are a Christian band... but not all of their songs are about Christianity.

I am not a Satanist, also because Satanist is not a thing, but that is really close minded of you. Most Christians don;'t even know what it entails, believing it's animals slaughter and sacrifice. Just saying, it's not my thing either, but if people want to believe in Satan, they are free to do so. If you are that close minded and wish for Religious fights to stop, then why not be more Open minded and respectful yourself?

Seeing religious stuff on KZread videos annoy me. God isnt a thing/person God isnt real its just there for comfort for some and to help them live their lives a bit better or whatever. I'm an athiest and this annoys me, stop posting it on songs..(I know i just did)
