The violin like sound in the beat is just like the music of a tv series from the 90's Hungary called "Szomszédok" which translates to neighbours. This show contained legendary pieces like a teenager shooting up weed and getting a heart attack from it :D Just magical :D

Glad to see everyone feelin' these joints. We committed ourselves to the raw hip hop sound; fat beats, fresh cuts, and dope rhyming. It's sad that these elements are becoming more and more a thing of the past. These joints were recorded at the pinnacle of the 90's golden era. It's crazy that back then the internet was not like it is now so you really had to hustle to get your music known and played throughout the country. It's good to see that a lot more people are getting a chance to hear it.

I used to listen to Alejan's radio show weekly on KWUR in St. Louis back in 94-95. When he came through the station, he was one of the nicest, most down to earth people. Crazy skills with the wax too! I got my copy of this record straight from him.
