When I was in Austria in February 2020, I decided against coming to Salzburg and opted for more time in Vienna. Now I can see that that was a mistake! Will need to take the trip back to this beautiful country. Thanks for the video guys!

The scenery is stunning. The food you had on that hike was dream food!!! We love meats, cheese olives etc. what a lovely day. Too scenery and too good. 🍻

Basically, no matter where you two choose to go I enjoy watching because a person can see you are close friends. You doing something with the person you love that we all would like to do. Always wishing you two th best!

Oh, I have been to Salzburg many many times as a child with my mother. And we always had a day trip to the Gaisberg. I remember that I always had a Spezi (Cola with Orange Lemonade) at the restaurant while we were waiting for the bus back to town. I am happy that you enjoyed your trip and shared it with us. 💖💖

I loved this video, specially because this is something which is not touristy at all this is what a local person might do on a weekend. And like you said I believe more people would love to explore more of the smaller towns and the unknown places the untouched beautiful nature, but the problem is there is not a lot of information and awareness of how to get there as compared to bigger cities. So since you are exploring all the lesser known places, may be you should start writing about how to find them and more such things to inspire others. I totally agree that they deserve to be seen and experienced. Loved the video. 🙂

We took your advice and checked it out. Great views. We had a meal at the top diner and I had a delicious spinach dumpling. Beer was good too (as always). It was very interesting to watch all of the parasailers fly around.

Thank you guys. I live here in Bavaria just 40 minutes by train to Austria in a town called Prien am Chiemsee. However yet to experience Salzburg. I will definitely explore your adventure there and the food and drinks. Here in Prien is the home of Ludwig II Herrenchiemsee a complex of royal buildings on Herreninsel, the largest island in the Chiemsee lake, in southern Bavaria, Germany. Together with the neighbouring isle of Frauenchiemsee and the uninhabited Krautinsel, it forms the municipality of Chiemsee, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) southeast of Munich.

Really enjoying your Germany and Austria videos! We have been to many of the same places and this surely makes us want to return! So glad you got great weather in the Austrian Alps - looked like middle of summer rather than October! Keep on traveling! - F & S Miller- Buffalo NY

Great video! I enjoyed that! And understanding doing hikes in nature, but maybe not super hard ones, I strongly recommend "Bergen" in Norway! Not only is it a very interesting middle size city, with very cool vibes, but it is also build upon/surrounded by seven mountains/hills (the biggest beeing roughly 800 Meters high) And it's a coastal city, so you actually get the best of both worlds! 😀

hello, I don't want to be picky, but next time you should definitely eat the Obatzter alone with a good Bavarian pretzel and preferably in the Andechs monastery. Because there is, in my opinion, the best Obatzter I have ever eaten there and the beer from their own brewery is a dream. Be sure to try the elder wheat beer, it's a dream. I am beginning to think that every country has their own version of macaroni and cheese! How did it compare to what you would get at home? I can hike and climb up all day long but my knees throw a fit after a couple of steps down. Getting old is not for the faint of heart but husband suggests it is better than the alternative. I don’t disagree. So I will hike up and ride down.

I live in Salzburg and it must have been summer time or late spring, early fall. From October to April/May the weather is changing a lot and mostly cold. From what I can see people wearing it looks like summer as well, my guess is June or September.
